Billing Department Has Never Returned My Calls So That I Can Give Them My Supplement Insurance Information But They Keep Billing Me & Sent Me A Final Notice. I've Tried Leaving A Message With The Supervisor Of That Particular Department & She Doesn't Return My Calls Either. I Have Excellent Credit Which Will Be Ruined Because Of The Hospital Staff & They're shenanigans! I Switched My Patient Care From Theirs Months Ago Because I Felt Stigmatized & It's Definitely Not The Mannerisms I'm Accustom To. They Should At Least Try To Be Part Of The Solution Instead Of PART OF THE PROBLEM!!

I went to a doctor appointment, and had to be hospitalized, due to high blood pressure. I receive the Best treatment from the emergency room service and the hospital room service. I met some of the friendliest workers. I Love how the doctors were attentive to my medical condition.

The service provided by this facility is horrible. Their system is deplorable! I have been attending the optometrist in the Ophthalmology Department since August of 2016 for cataracts. Upon arriving, I was told I needed another referral and was not seen. Even tho, the receptionist spoke to my primary care and they verified my insurance but could not complete the referral today.
Each time I attend, there is a $35 charge, I wait an hour and the doctor sees me for 5 minutes and she tells me to return for another visit.
    The receptionist are rude.
I only visit this hospital because my primary care referred me, however I am going to see if I can be referred somewhere else , even if it means my starting the process from the beginning.
I don’t recommend this hospital or the hospital clinic to anyone.

Some employees are nice most others rude. Very run down and in need of much repairs. Surgical waiting room very HOT and nasty. Not enough comfortable seating and when trying to get info about your loved one your treated like your bothering them. Overall it wouldn't be a first choice.

Nurses here do not help at all, they complain when they are needed and I they do not answer when callled to the patients room. They are very rude and rough with patients. I asked for Pain medicine and she never came I'm still waiting for it. This hospital must undergo a new staff hiring. They do NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS AND DO NOT HEKP THE RIGHT WAY

Was transferred to 7 people in 10 minutes all not knowing any information. Did not help me at all with the questions I had. Do not go to this hospital, they do not care about anything you ask and will not help you whatsoever. I won't even talk about the time I was in the ICU here. Avoid this place upon your best interest regarding yours or anyone else's health.

We had a great experience having 2 babies at this hospital. The building is worn, but the staff could not be kinder or more thoughtful, both in Labor & Delivery and in the Mother-Baby unit.

THE WORSE HOSPITAL IN THE U.S.A.. The waiting room is a "DYE WAITING ROOM" 10 Hours waiting with heart attack symptoms and still can't see a doctor. DYE WAITING ROOM has about 40 people waiting now and the call a patient in to see a doctor about every two hours. This place should be shut down. People dye waiting here and they don't even pick up the dead bodies..

My brother had a 7am appointment for a CT Scan. We arrived at 0630 and by the time the processing was complete, we arrived in the waiting area at 0700. It is now 0825, and he has not been called. Only 2 people have been called in 1 1/2 hours. And one of the patients arrived after we did. The waiting area has 8 patients waiting. Unacceptable

In my opinion, the staff here is one of the best in Chicago. They show and demonstrate compassion, and actually care about customers from what I've seen. It's nice to know that there is a competent hospital with smart, caring nurses and Doctors. Keep up the good work Sinai, you guys ROCK!

This is the most ghetto hospital I've been to. My OB is affiliated with this hospital and she send me in for an ultrasound and for a nst. In the main entrance I asked where was the triage at, I showed them my paperwork and instead of them calling for help the lady upfront said go straight make a right, then another right then grab the elevator to the 4th. Once I arrived to the 4th floor and was checked in the lady said walk to end of the hall and I'll buzz the door open. I waited two minutes for her to buzz me in, i had to walk back upfront to her and tell her are you planning to buzz me in. She laugh and said oops I forgot. Once I got in to the triage the two girls up front were on their cell phones and looked up and said can I help you. I gave them my paperwork and said sit here I have to ask you some questions. Then after that I got my room and she later came back and said I'm sorry I have to send you to the third floor for an ultrasound do you where it's at. I told her no, she walked me to the elevator and then said take it to the third floor and then go straight and make a right. I told her are you serious as a patient don't you have to take the patient she looked at me and said NO patient have to walk themselves. I was so piss off and left I ended up going to Mac Neal for them to do the procedures that needed to be done on me and my baby. As for me I'm not delivering my baby in a ghetto ass hospital. Never again am I coming back to junk as crack head hospital. The worst part they charge you for parking. Your a patient why the heck do you have to get charged for parking.

Had outpatient surgery at this hospital after being referred by my pcp.
    WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
The security staff did not follow proper procedures as to securing my personal effects. I never was given the opportunity to see who took my personal effects. I was never given the opportunity to sign off of my personal effects. All I was told is that the person was running late. Can anybody tell me WTF does that has to do with me.
I was awaken from anesthesia, in the recovery room by a hollering/screaming baby who was in the bed just to the left of me.
RECOVER! who can recover with a hollering baby in ur ear.
To my disbelief, after examining my wallet for all of its contents, SECURITY STAFF HAD STOLEN my free ride ventra card, and I was told to calm down, by a big, burly security guard.
The big, burly, glorified security guard stood over me to intimidate me, he pointed his fingers in my face as if I was a kid he helped conceived. Then I was surrounded by 3-4 more bigger than me security guards, who did nothing but harass me because I'd asked to have a tangible copy of the incident report, and simply standing and waiting to be serviced by the hospital social worker. I felt like I was a criminal instead of a patient.
I wanted to be compensated for my stolen buss pass. I was at this God forsaken hospital since 5:30a.m. I walked in with my buss card to get home .
It is now 6:34p.m., and after being stranded at this wretched hospital for over 12 hours, I was told by the transportation supervisor, that it was approved for me to have a free ride home, but I have to wait an additional 2 or so hours. Now I'm leaving without a ride home.

A hospital's staff STEALS your buss pass, you get treated as if you were in the wrong and like a common criminal. The social worker, Nikki, had been informed that I'd have to wait an additional 2 or so hour,s by the transportation supervisor but neglected to inform me. Had it not been for the transportation supervisor informing me, I would still be waiting. This Nikki person got the information but intentionally had me just waiting.
I'd been greeted by the intake person, whose disposition should not be allowed to work in any public place that services customers. You know she just had to be black. Typical to say the least.
Most of the staff do not speak English with clarity and it's very difficult to understand them. You have Spanish speaking employees, speaking in Spanish only. This is AMERIKKKA! WE SPEAK ENGLISH.
I intake bed was surrounded by student doctors, who did not introduce who they were but found it okay to be all up in ur personal business. All of this without my consent.

IF I WAS ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW, I WOULDN'T TAKE A DOG TO THIS HOSPITAL.

If I could give this tired ass hospital, who act as if they're only serving the Latino community, zero stars, I most certainly would have.

If you can help it, NEVER go to this hospital.

Horrible experience. My mom went in for an Appendectomy, which is suppose to be a common simple surgery. They are the most neglectful hospital I ever been to. Nurses are terrible and give really bad quality care. do not recommend to anyone! Go to Saint Anthony instead, it's like two minutes away. if I could give 0 stars trust me I would.
