Not a fancy hotel but clean and priced right to enjoy the area. A couple flaws in the room, a shelf was broken and a light did not work. The staff was accommodating and polite. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking to enjoy the area and not stay in your entire trip.

I enjoyed my stay outside of the noisy neighbors, running, jumping and trampling around. But, I did NOT enjoy the sand covered wood floor! I happened to leave my slippers at home on accident and Boy, I hate that I did! I understand that it is a Beach Resort Hotel, accommodating nothing but beach going tourists. However, I do expect the Hotel to have mastered some sort of cleaning technique that will get the sand up OFF of the floor and not just swept or NOT swept into the corners of the room! I can say at the least..the front desk staff/housekeeping was very friendly. I was very pleased with their AWESOME Destin, Fl. hospitality! If I absolutely had to, I wouldn't mind staying on my next go around.

My rating isn't based on my stay because I didn't actually stay a night. Somehow the app reserved a room for me on the incorrect date, 2 weeks prior to my scheduled event. After receiving the survey email I realized I had paid for a room I had not even used . I quickly called the location and they directed me to the corporate office which was closed at the time. I called the following day and was refunded my money with no question and given the opportunity to reserve the room on the correct day. I appreciate the customer service Motel 6 offers, looking forward to my actual stay

Rooms are nice and up to date. The hotel was quiet, felt safe and was close to everything. But the staff was what I was impressed with! I am sorry I didn't get the names of the maintenance and the front desk staff. They are something for you to be very proud of! Your staff had to break into the room because the latch hook was locked from the inside but that's all I want to say about the inside. However, the whole team jumped in to rectify the issue and we had a wonderful stay. Thank you Motel 6. We will be staying again!

Loved our stay there!! Rooms were spacious and very clean. Real comfortable beds. Everything worked perfectly and plenty of hot water available.
The staff at this location, front desk, house keeping and maintenance were all very friendly and made you feel welcomed. We hated to leave. Will be back at the end of the month to stay again.

Came in 10 p.m. Tuesday night. Stayed there twice before while on business. Key didn't work at first, Kayla fixed it promptly. Ice bucket had crack, did not hold water. Kayla didn't have one but gave me plastic bag to use inside of it. Nice lady. Up at 208, noticed wrapped bar of soap in front of 206. There still the next day and until I checked out Thursday morning. Did NOT get room service Wednesday even though I was gone from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Picked up soap myself and put it in my room.

It started when we were paying with a credit card and on the second room she said i got it and assumed it was the same card as my reservations. However it was not and it got put on my debit card which ended up making my account go into negative today. I realize there was storm however in 3 days my room was never cleaned had to get towels everyday cause they were all dirty. The first day I even asked if they come sweep and get towels nothing was ever done. Had a good time but just nasty cause no cleaning and our other room got cleaned. Worst experience with motel 6.

This was by far the best experience I have had at a hotel! Me and my family came up to Destin, FL when we where evacuated from the hurricane. Every person that we encountered there that worked there where the nicest and most respectful people. Me and my family will be making a special trip just to stay there and enjoy all the people and places we went to while we where there. Thank you so much for making our stay easier during a stressful time! God bless you all. And the rooms where clean and nice.

Dirty filthy hotel - I could not believe how filthy everything was. The pool area was down right dangerous - a mound of dried palm fronds piled up inside the pool area - step on one of those with bare feet and you are going to the hospital. All the tables and chairs were dirty, flipped over and not set up days after the storm. There was black mold in the bathroom and I took pictures of it. The door to my room had a gaping open area at the bottom - took pictures of that too. At night I was too afraid to stay - young girls accompanied by men coming and going the whole night - I left at the crack of dawn and slept in a state park - that is how endangered I felt. The staff were yelling and screaming at each other when I checked in - I won't stay at another Motel 6 ever. This hotel is located in one of the best towns in Florida - and it is a dump. If I could have I would have stayed somewhere else but with the evacuations due to the Hurricane not many rooms available. I would really like my money back. Don't stay here - sleep in your car or keep driving. If this is the only available choice in Destin.

Can't beat this for the price. Staff was friendly, called the morning of booking and allowed us to check in early at 10 am. We stayed here one night just to extend our vacation one more night and we were not dissappointed. It was just a basic hotel with 2 beds and a TV, but everything was clean and well maintained. We were nervous at first due to the bad reviews, but decided to give it a shot and I'm glad we did. We did have our jack Russell terrier with us, so we have limited options with pet friendly places to stay. We highly recommend, can't beat the price.

We had to get a hotel in a hurry and this was a fantastic experience. they were extremely helpful and worked with us to get a reservation setup on very little notice. the room was exactly as advertised and more than worth the price. the pool was great and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay again.

The only good thing about this hotel is that the rooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff is ridiculous!! Check in time was 3:00. I arrived about 15 minutes till 3. She said it would be about 15 because the rooms wasn't ready. I waited over an hour and still she didn't know what was going on. Very upsetting. But another customer come in 30 minutes after me and she offered him a $50 discount because it would be an hour before his room was ready. I just lost it then. Overall staff not very helpful. I don't think I ever stay here again.

Family stars here for s night. The room was just as it is advertised. It was clean, no-frills room. I do recall that is Motel 6 rooms are inexpensive. If you're looking for a full services hotel, this is not it.

If you are looking for a great hotel this is not the one we just stayed at this hotel and it was awful I give this place 0 stars. We was told one thing when we booked our rooms 3 months in advance and when we got to the hotel the man up front said that our rooms was already taken and he gave us diffrent rooms and as I asked how this happened he informed me that just because you make reservations don't mean you get those exact rooms. We were told we had a kitchen in the one room and was told we had a connecting room and that wasn't the case at all the other room was away from it. The floors was so dirty our feet was black. There was holes in the corners of the floor like from mice. The bedding was nasty like stains and such. And there was a very bad smell of smoke in our room that was supposed to be non smoking. We had to go and get our own towels and wash rags as well and they didn't come and clean our rooms at all. There was hardly any parking and people partying in the parking lot taking up spots. And the front desk people had to see them out there and they claimed they did not. It sure was a waste of $600.00 my family and I will never stay there again. We was also informed on our last night the whole cleaning staff quit on them and that's why that day the rooms didn't get clean. We also was able to smell pot coming into our room as well. If you are looking to save money on a motel I advise you to spend a little extra somewhere else and have a better stay as well as cleaner.

When you walk in it's a pretty appearance, until you start looking closer. We had other people hair stuck to the shower wall, in our towels and in our bed. The floors were gritty with sand but it was the least expensive hotel in Destin so I guess you get what you pay for. But 340 for 2 nights anywhere else you should receive better cleanliness
