We showed up, on foot, after flying all day from colorado, and as we are walking up to the motel a security guard informed us that the motel was closed. Well what about our reservations? The guard was as much help as a guard could be, then when we went inside to get info on others hotels the front desk woman came inside and was very rude and not helpful in the least. Mind you we are on foot and the closest hotel is over 3 miles away. No one offered to help us our with other arrangements or a shuttle or even directions. After flying for over 5 hours this is probably the worst thing that could have happened. Now we are paying almost triple what we originally planned on when booking motel 6 but then we have to change to the nearest hyatt which is obviously more expensive plus the same day reservation inconvenience. What if there were no other vacancies at other hotels near by? What would we have done? Such a disappointment and just unacceptable. Truly the worst experience I have ever had with a motel/hotel and even more baffled that the staff at the motel 6 was so unfriendly and unhelpful when this was their doing. I will never again give motel 6 my business. EVER.

Went to my niece's graduation from Harvard. This was and inexpensive and good place for the family to crash. Right on the Red Line to Cambridge. Cabinet standards is nearby. Not elegant but functional with shopping and restaurant close by. Better than paying $400 and update perfectly night to be in Cambridge.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. First off the room was routinely dirty. Hair from other people in the dirty shower. I stayed at this motel during a time when there was a shoot out between another guest and the police. I was never approached for a refund. In fact after we left the motel through out my numerous conversations with various employees of Motel 6, I had the most offensive interaction. I spoke to a man who had worked there for a year, only to be spoken to in a most offensive and disrespectful manner. He yelled at me, called me a racist, and accused me of being naive. Please save your money. This place is deplorable and they have no interest in respecting their guests.

the hot water was warm, but not hot. I was originally assigned a room on the back side of the building, but the walkway lighting was so poor it was unsafe to walk there at night. I went to the room assigned, but obviously had not been made up from the previous guest, an accident but disconcerting. I was told I could walk to the train station, but I needed to cross 4 lanes of traffic without a crosswalk, so that was a false statement. I did not have 3 complete sets of towel upon arrival.

The pictures online were nothing like the actual motel, the place was a dump. The rooms were dirty, floors were uneven, bathroom was tiny. They don't supply shampoo. I turned on the air conditioning and it smelt like a dead mouse. When they waxed the floors, they waxed right over a cockroach in my room. I was there for a bachelor party and the motel was just for a bed to sleep in overnight and they charged me $120 for a queen size room, totally not worth it. They also take section 8 so people were living there. Just wasn't pleased at all. On the upside most of the staff was very helpful and nice.

I was a loyal customer of Motel 6. I used to only book Motel 6 for my trips in Boston and San Jose, CA because of the price and good value. But this time was a disaster. The bed sheets were dirty, my mom and I couldn't sleep because of itch. Even though we chose non-smoking room (and in front of the room had a sign of non-smoking), it still smelled like smoking. The bath tub also looked dirty with some yellow-ish spot. We booked 2 nights, but ended up checking out early after the first night. This would definitely be my last time at Motel 6.

The staff was wonderful-really couldn't be more attentive. Mattresses in the room slid on the base and one of my family members actually fell off the bed. Also, daily Wifi was $5 daily per device which I thought was quite extreme since it was constantly cutting off. I also didn't like that the only way out of the parking lot directed you to the roundabout which was very inconvenient. Rooms need upgrading; had to relocate due to ants.

The Manager on the desk was very friendly and welcoming - the room had a modern sparse decor, which was quite nice and well fitted to our needs. However - it was quite cold weather, there was a real draft coming from outside and the beds only had blankets. The room's heater worked well but I believe some weather stripping would save them some heating$. Several of our friends questioned why we were staying there - it has a reputation apparently. But it WAS clean and the bed was comfortable, and I heard under new management. It was very reasonable and that's all we needed.
