The Boston Marriott Cambridge includes all of the amenities you would expect. The hotel staff is friendly and the hotel lounge areas seem to be very popular. The M club is located on the second floor and is well stocked. The hotel is in a great location and is within walking distance of One Kendall Square and great local restaurants. The entire area is very traveler/pedestrian friendly.
Great location mere steps from T stop. The staff--from desk to housekeeping to valet-- was responsive and flexible, friendly and professional. Room was spotless and modern. Avoid rooms near the elevator-- they are fast, but louder than conventional lifts.
Beautifully updated rooms. See photos. Safe and fridge in room. Valet parking available for just a little more than self parking. Some rooms have great views. Friendly and helpful staff.
Location is definitely the appeal here. It was so convenient being right by the T. The views were beautiful and restaurant was great but walls were pretty thin, which made sleeping a challenge when the person next door was on the phone. All in all a great stay.
This is an exceptionally beautiful hotel. The room was impeccably clean. The WiFi was fast, and the service was very friendly. As an extra nice touch, I didn't answer a wake up call one morning (I was in the bathroom) and they sent up a security guard to make sure I was okay. That's pretty incredible to me. Highly recommend.
When I visit MIT this is the hotel I stay at. If you book your room in advance the rates are get competitive. The guest rooms were remodeled recently and are very nice. I love the automatic foot lights in the bathroom. The executive lounge is very modern and spacious. There is a T stop right outside and lots of dining options nearby. My favorite hotel in the Boston area.
Great friendly staff, good amenities, and an excellent view. The valet staff was great as well. Even though parking was a little expensive, it was worth it for the peace of mind! The beds were super comfy and the room was cozy with a nice 55 inch screen. It is close to everything as well. We were incredibly happy and satisfied with our stay and look forward to our next trip.
Rooms are great, has a friendly and professional staff willing to greet you in the mornings. Very accessible and you can go anywhere in the city via the train station outside. The hotel dinning is a bit limited, though. But then again, there are a few restaurants outside of the hotel itself. Expensive wifi and a hassle to obtain. Overall, great experience for me.
Excellent location directly above the Red Line (Kendall stop). Renovated rooms with good charging ports and wifi. Concierge lounge has free breakfast, snacks, and dessert for Elite members.
I am attending a continuing education conference at the Boston Marriott Cambridge. In arriving at the hotel earlier than expected, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member named Gina at the front desk. She was very helpful in getting me into my room early. She also made sure that I got the room toe I requested. The hotel is extremely clean and always smells fresh. Housekeeping has been very good about keeping the room tidy as well. Today I had the pleasure of ordering room service. From the call I made to the delivery to the food It was all wonderful. The conference rooms are gorgeous and very adequate for or large group. The breakfast served was fabulous. I would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again. It has been a fabulous stay, in every manner of speaking.
The room is good, but probably nothing else is. The pool is closed for an unknown period of time. (They ask us to walk a block to use the one at another Marriott's, seriously?) The fitness center is only open at night. Laundry is closed. No water in my 1st morning and they needed 1-2 hours to fix it. My wife's room key didn't work and had to exchange twice. Could it be any worse?
I was here for a professional event. I was very impressed with the conference room set up. They provided water at each table and note pads and pens. They also were able to provide security since there was intellectual property being discussed. The staff was courteous and polite.
We stayed here for a weekend; the view from our room was breathtaking, both day and at night Charles River looked gorgeous. The room was good, but room service was poor. Moreover ceiling was leaking by the time we came back from work at night. Had a soaked carpet patch for the night. As we were booked under Elite Platinum membership; breakfast was complementary and delicious. We even got an amazing custom chocolate chip pancake.
