Fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (though not the most modern). The staff and service are outstanding. The location is minutes from most major landmarks. I'd be very happy staying here again and look forward to doing so.

It's an old bank. Beautiful hotel. Nice location. The pink pens are cool. I'm sure to steal one when I'm there.

The hotel is nice but the staff was creepy. They came in and out of the room without knocking just appearing out of no where claiming to be replacing something insignificant. Not a restful night. High creep and arrogance factor from the cleaning staff. I gave 2 star because the front desk staff were nice.

Nice place. Great location downtown. Close to many restaurants. I was here for work and everyone in the lobby was very helpful. There's an attached parking lot for overnight parking. I don't think this is normal, but David Ortiz was in the lobby posing for pictures with a bunch of people who were all in my way when I was trying to check in. I felt like Shooter Mcgavin.

Elegance. Style. Perfection. They spare no expense and give you the 5 star treatment that other more expensive hotels claim they instill, but fail to deliver. The Langham doesn't - their location is prefect for business or pleasure and close to anything you could want in Boston. Honestly the best in the city Hands down .

We attended the Chocolate Bar buffet. Our waiter was great and a couple of the attendants were very nice,however there was a station that was empty quite a bit and 2 of the attendants were rude when I asked for assistance there. The food was good, although there were several items I was not impressed with. But the majority of the food was delicious and they had chocolate cotton candy!

Just wonderful! Had a minor maintenance issue and they fixed it right away. Historic but modern enough to be comfortable and practical. Staff is top notch!

Great location in Boston and excellent service! Definitely an old Boston feel. Outstanding breakfast room service, the best we've ever had! My only complaint is the super firm bed and pillows. Other than that, I would highly recommend a stay here.

I started here with my wife because it is listed as a 5 start hotel but the cost was comparable to the 4 star hotels in Boston. The overall amenities were nice. The room and common areas were all very clean. The food that we are there was fine but nothing exciting. The drinks we got at their lounge in the evening were actually very good but it took as long time both to get our order in and to receive the drinks. The service overall in the hotel left a lot to be desired. The man checking is in was not rude but he certainly was far from friendly. There was a general sense that none of the employees were interested in doing their jobs. There are definitely better hotels in Boston for significantly less money and far greater service.response / report this review -

A clean hotel. Strategically well located from tourist attractions. We usually enjoy well lit rooms. Unfortunately, it felt dark and morbid, and the weather didn't help!

Gorgeous hotel. Excellent service, everyone was highly professional, but still kind. My only thing is that in the pool area near the hot tub dial the floor is not textured. I slipped and lightly sprained my ankle. There are signs everywhere warning that it was slippery, but I expected at least some textured flooring where people would be walking. This place is very beautiful. It has a wonderful staff along with nice rooms. Once you walk in you see a gorgeous chandelier. The rooms are much more than expected. My stay has been wonderful and I hope to come back.
