It's a wonderful motel, I come from Colorado to Virginia for the holidays and it makes you feel at home. As a tourist it's a wonderful place to learn a little from Sherpherdsville, Ky over a night and a morning. I will gladly stay there in the way back.

The room service employees were very disrespectful and no manners at all. Walking into room as they were knocking isn't the appropriate and correct way of doing room service. I just got out of shower and wasn't completely dressed and the lady opened the room door as she was knocking saying room service. The second day we were there i was to exchange the dirty towels for clean ones and they told me I could only have two washcloths back when I gave them 4 washclothes. I explained to her we had 4 people in the room and I gave her 4 washcloths and four towels dirty to exchanged.. honestly I will not stay at this motel again. The manager was very rude when I told him my concerns about the lady from room service. He didn't seem to care about the situation.

This place is a freakin joke! The $56 room ended up being $75 (because it was the weekend) this was Friday. THEN as my boyfriend and i went outside to decide if we wanted the room we came back in and the pregnant receptionist says its a $150 deposit fee!!! There was NO WAY we were gonna do that! Who wants to rent a room and have to do that?? NOT US! So we left. That was just ridiculous. I see they like to judge everyone because of the druggies that rent rooms. NEVER AGAIN!

I have stayed at this particular Motel 6 several times over the past few years, and found the recently renovated rooms very comfortable, spacious, and attractive. While conveniently close to I-65, the rooms were very quiet without traffic noise. I was traveling with my dogs, and there are lots of large grassy areas around the motel for walking dogs. The heater/AC appeared fairly new and worked very well, with digital heat controls. There was a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and there was a table and several chairs as well as the large bureau. There are several fast food establishments and gas stations nearby and lots of parking. There was some newly-established landscaping that will be very attractive when it matures. Friendly and helpful front desk staff too. Pet-friendly and a great value, this is one of my go-to Motel 6's when traveling on I-65.

Hello. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Really, if that’s all you’re looking for, then you’ve come to the right place.

Here are some-less-than satisfactory notes- The shower wasn’t very powerful, and didn’t come with shampoo. They did have a vending machine that you could pay 2 bucks for a small amount of shampoo though. In addition there isn’t a coffee pot in your room. They do offer free coffee in the morning time though. They also started using a large saw, as well as other construction equipment right next to our room at 8AM that woke me up, and didn’t stop until 11AM.

It’s minimal in ways, but a nice stay for someone looking for a cheap place to stay for a night. Lots of restaurants near by if you’re looking for a quick bite. Overall a pleasant experience. I would definitely stay again.

Overall a fine hotel. Nothing special. No breakfast and a treadmill in the lobby as a gym. Rooms had hardwood floor and beds were comfy. Bathroom sink was very nice. 3/5 stars.

If you want fancy, pay for fancy. If you want let friendly and inexpensive, then book with Motel 6. We always look for them. Great location, staff helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice size, clean, its an older building that shows its age , but it's exactly what they advertise

It looks like this hotel had been Motel M, but was now a Motel 6. Coffee was not available until 9 in am and the ice machine was broken. The picture of the motel shown on the Motel 6 web page does not match the motel where we stayed. We like Motel 6 because we have a dog and usually there is an area for walking the dog. In this case, the manager rushed out to tell us that our dog had to be on a leash. We were the only guests that we could tell and we were right there with our dog so are not sure what that was all about. The China Buffet recommended by the manager was good.

I had read recent reviews, and I am not sure which property they stayed in because I did not find this property a problem. The room was large and spacious, and traveling with dogs that is important to me. The room was cleaned each day, and the staff was nice. I have come not to expect a lot from many Motel 6 properties because they are less expensive and because they allow pets, the property can get run down more quickly than other places, but I will be staying here again when I have to do shows at the Fairground even though it is about a 20 minute drive.

We had a short stay along our trip from Indiana back to texas. The lady behind the counter was nice and professional. The room was clean and quiet. We left very early the next morning. Plenty of room to park our trailer.

The room was spotless and the staff helpful. I had a problem with the people in the room next to me the first night being very loud and the staff tried to resolve this. This motel was not on the list of hotels given me by the organization I was in town with, and I was told it is the "party hotel". I found this not to be true. More electrical outlets in the room would be helpful - there was 1.

This place is a joke!! First off there were 4 of us. They only had 2 towels and wash clothes said housekeeping was gone for the day and they couldn't get us anymore. The lady at the desk said use hand towels!!! Really?? I paid for this room expecting to have the things I needed to take a shower. I booked a non smoking room. We walked into a room that smelled of smoke and had an ashtray in it. I sent a message to the reservation company and told them. At 11:30 pm the front desk called me. Yes we were already in bed asleep. He calls to tell me that we are in a non smoking room. I asked him why does it smell like smoke and why is there an ashtray in here. Oh housekeeping must have forgotten to take it out!!! Really?? If it's a nonsmoking room why would housekeeping have an ashtray in there to begin with. The people above us partied until 3 am. Then got out of the shower to find there is not a hair dryer. Called front desk to ask for one. Oh there all gone!! So I would advise anybody of your gonna stay here better bring everything you need because they have nothing!!! Oh and bring plenty of air freshener!!!
