Fleeing violence can be hard!!! I found comfort at Motel 6. The front desk clerk Teresa was awesome she brought comfort in a time of distress. The room was great up-to-date clean comfortable and peaceful. The staff was very polite and very helpful. I recommend this hotel five stars down to anyone. If you're in this area this is the hotel for you!!! I will revisit
Recently updated. Mattresses were new. It was very nice room and updated features. Very clean and no bed bugs. No bugs at all! Office staff was amazing. Very kind and helpful. I would recommend. Not a bad area either.
Very good motel for the money. Room was very clean an neat and everything worked perfectly. I have been staying here for several years for a special event at Stone Mountain Park and will probably do so again next year. The front desk staff were excellent.
Overall, a good experience. Ladies at the front desk at check-in were fairly friendly, definitely nicer than front desk people I usually encounter, especially late in the evenings. Not amazing, but not unfriendly, which is good. Room was pretty nice. Bed creaked when I lay down on it. Maybe a mini frig would've been convenient. Also, I didn't see any vending machines. Room and bathroom were nice, clean, everything worked. Air conditioner was a bit noisy but worked fine. Overall, a pretty good room and experience for the price.
It was very much needed. The environment is clean neat & peaceful. No bugs no messy room no disrespectful workers. Front desk staff was very helpful respectful & outstanding towards me. The worker that came and clean my room was very polite & helpful. Motel 6 is the best hotel I been to thank you guys at motel 6 in tucker. Be back soon
Not the Hilton, but good enough for the price compared to others in the area. Wouldn't recommend for multiple nights due to the lack of amenities, but if you are looking for a place just to get some sleep while traveling then it works well. Room was clean and in working order and the beds were comfortable. And the grounds were quiet. No late night activity outside, even on a Saturday night.
This place honestly sucked. The only reason we went there was because it was the only place that allows dogs with an available room during Hurricane Irma.
The air conditioning barely works
There was no microwave or refrigerator even though the website said our room would have one
There was little to no space
It smelled awful
You could hear everything that everyone said outside your room,
Anything that someone did above you could be clearly heard
Not one person controlled their animals at night and in the morning, let alone cleaned up after them
Our door would not open unless you hit the handle in a specific spot, and then turned the handle upside down
The whole place was as sketchy as Tacoma, WA
Somehow a group of kids was allowed to run around screaming at the top of their lungs for hours on end
Even the power went out and they didn't have a generator like every other hotel on the block. They were going to kick everyone out that day because of it just like they had the year before.
The upsides:
The staff was nice
The pillows were amazing
We were here because of our escape from Hurricane Irma hitting Florida S a category 5 or 4. We were only going to stay 1 night and go further North. However, we were so comfortable and the staff was so friendly that we stayed for an extra night. I also want to say that our rooms were very clean. Thank you for your hospitality we definitely appreciated it!
I enjoyed my stay. There were some shady looking guests, but I didn't have any issues and it was quiet, so I felt safe staying there. My room was very nice, but didn't have a refrigerator or coffee. Pets can stay so that was a bonus. Office staff were friendly and helpful and on task.
This was a very nice room. Although it was supposed to be a non smoking rooms it smelled like someone had recently smoked. Although it was pet friendly didn't hear any dogs and the grounds were very clean. Would stay here again.
We only stayed here cause it was the cheapest place within driving distance of where we were headed. Thankfully the parking lot is well lit cause it's clearly a bad neighborhood. There was even a cop in the parking lot. The rooms are typical run down truck stop room. Mold in the shower. Uncomfortable beds. Tissues stuck in the peepholes for the door. I overheard one person say they paid $190 for the night!!! While I paid less than $50. Don't stay here if you're paying over $50. It's NOT worth it!
Everything was fine except for the water pressure. It took forever to get a shower. Which probably wasn't the fault of the motel. Just if you stay there plan on spending more time in the shower.
I typically do not even consider Motel 6 as an option when selecting a hotel. When arriving to this location, I immediately noticed how clean the entry and lobby was and I was promptly kindly greeted by Alexis at the front desk who got me all set up with my room for the night. The room felt welcoming and was also noticeably clean and well taken care of. I was impressed with my visit considering the low price I paid for just a one night stay. This particular location as well as the helpful staff I met; Alexis, Teresa, and Huey changed my whole opinion on Motel 6 with this visit. Y'all made me feel right at home and just comfortable as a whole, which to me is very important as I assume it is to most people while traveling. Great job guys, y'all have gained a new customer with this experience. Thanks again!
"You can't believe everything you hear", is what I thought upon leaving the Motel 6 the morning after my stay. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was much to my liking, enough towels, tissue and soap. The TV worked fine and was up to date. The floors were clean as well as the bathroom. Water was created hot..I love that..I took three showers. Overall, my stay was more than I expected. Rumor is there is some violent activity late night at this particular hotel as well as drug transactions on a regular. If I would have known this to not be a fact, I would have stayed at the Motel 6 from June to August, instead of Masters Inn. I stayed at Masters Inn for three months due to my job and I read there reviews, that was the basis of my decision. Anyway, I will be back soon, until next time "keep the light on😎"
