Read reviews & booked room Viewed room b4 paying; pillow sitting up in bed, it smelt like fresh cigarettes, the bathroom sink was dirty, the shower had soap residue in soap holders & the shower floor looked like a gore movie (pictures below). Went back 2 front, they agreed to clean. I left 2 give them time &get some food
Got back, front desk said they were finished. Got to room 2 ladies there, I stayed in the car and started eating. One lady signaled for me 😧 They wanted me 2 view the room while they were there. I'm trying 2 look the room over & they're talking 2 me distracting me, so I said ok. I didn't even look in the bathroom 😧 I was tired & the room smelled fresher Brought things inside, went 2 use restroom & discovered that it hadn't been cleaned 😧 Went back 2 office, it was closed 😐 Waited another 15-20 mins, along with others waiting to check-in
Front desk said; the bathroom is clean & the paint is just peeling on shower floor 😞?? Showed her pictures of soap in shower, the dirty sink, & asked her; who wants 2 stand on peeling paint 😯 She gave another room
This room was still half cleaned but looked better. After getting things out the car again, ROACHES started coming out from every where!😷 It was unreal, I thought I was in a movie or some prank show! Hurried & put things back in car! Went 2 get food out fridge; roaches on my food man 😣
Got money back & left. also no parking backwards per city "rules", not law but "rules" 😫😪 I tried 2 upload video of roaches in the fridge, but couldn't
Good part about it? Front desk did not get snappy nor have attitude. Thanks. The 1 star goes to her.response / report this review -

I spent 6 months residing here at Crossland on Jimmy Carter and it has been a wonderful experience. It is convenient to nearby establishments and public transportation. The staff there make you feel like family and any problems I had, they were quick to fix. The price is reasonable and you even get a rebate after 90 days that is credited to your stay there. It great for a weekend stay or an extended stay for the whole family

Staff was very nice and rooms are waaay better than some of the other motels I've been to..they are newly renovated and comfortable.

I relocated from Alabama to Georgia and was not sure how the transition would go. I had researched different extended stay locations and chose Crossland Economy Studios @ 6295 Jimmy Carter Blvd. I, undoubtedly, made a great choice. From the moment of my arrival i was made to feel comfortable. The room was clean, the grounds of the property were well-maintained and
inviting, and the overall surrounding areas were peaceful. From the front office staff, Consuela and Nicole, to the maintenance staff, to the room attendants/chamber maids, everyone has been warm, polite, and courteous. As a rule, you don't stay anywhere you're not comfortable. Well, guess what? I've been here now for two months. with no complaints whatsoever.

This is a great place to find prostitutes drugs and hooligans. Noise all hours of the night. Unclean rooms. Bitchy staff. Suspect behavior. Welcome to crossland aka THE HOOD.

They have done a lot of remodeling and it is beautiful here. New beds, TV's and refrigerators. It is a quiet and lovely place to stay and very affordable.

I hate this place. Moved from out of state with my son and husband so really had no where else to stay. 1 side of the 2 burner stove caught fire every time I used it so I could only use 1 burner. The table was broken. The toilet seat was broken. The shower was tiny and leaked everywhere when you took a shower. The water stayed warm for like 2 minutes. Couldn't even give my son a proper bath cause there was mold and the water was too cold for him. No one ever answered the phone up front. The lamp switch didn't work so u had to plug and unplug every time u wanted light. The 1 drawer in the kitchen was broken. I heard gun shots twice while I was there. There is always yelling a noise outside. Even at night. Except when the night security walked around. it was quite then. He was also an add. When he left all hell broke loose and the music drugs and yelling started again. The fire alarm kept going off at night waking my son up. I wish I didn't even have to give it 1 star but sadly you have to in order to put a review. That place was full of drugs and nonsense. Glad I'm out of there. Wouldn't even recommended it for my dog.

Stayed at Crossland Embassy Suites which was under Extended Stay on Jimmy Carter in GA for seven months. My overall experience was satisfactory. Stayed in a renovated suite with new appliances, furniture and mattress. Front desk clerks were always nice and helpful. Hated the first room and with no problem i was switched to another room. Weekly room service was great. My cleaner was Gloria.
Won't mention my 1st. My second bad experience were the guest whom have no respect for other guest but in the state of GA, they have extended stay/living. So you're liable to get all types of guest with many backgrounds, which was a culture shock for me. Staff can do better at becoming knowledgeable and familiar with the products such as the "perks program". Noone was able to explain the program but they have a HUGE display advertising it. Oh no. Do not go by those old pictures. This might as well be a welfare motel. I believe most guests are locals that no one will rent an apartment to. The furniture is destroyed (I looked at two rooms). Dirt on the walls. Not even a little trash bin. I wasn't there even two hours when a fight broke out between two women right outside my door. Straight outta Compton.
