Quite cozy
It's nice
The clerks are extremely helpful! I love these guys!
I'd been driving all day in thunderous downpours, and it was about 8:30 at night when I got into Rome, Georgia. The roads were flooding and I was in a low-slung sports car so I was looking to get off the highway. The first place I saw was the Garden Inn and Suites, which sounded great, so I pulled right in.
Unfortunately, the reality of the place is that it does not live up to its name. Unless you consider a 10x15-foot patch of plantings a garden, and an old 1950s strip motel an "inn and suites." It's not a bad place, it was reasonably clean and (though quirky) I would definitely stay there again if passing through; it's just not a garden, or suites. It is, I guess, an inn of sorts, if you consider Days Inn to be an inn anyway. :)
The owners were very nice and accommodating, and I enjoyed a nice night's sleep, so as I say I would stay there again. As I recall the price was certainly reasonable as well. And there's a cinema multi-plex just behind and beside the motel, so there's entertainment if you need it. Not a place I'd go as a destination, but as a way-stop while traveling TO your destination it's certainly good.
Recommended, with reservations.
Owner was very rude and unprofessional and disrespectful
House keeping
Clean room nice amenities
Hotel was still dirty. There was open bottles of soda and alcohol left in the refrigerator. Service was rude an would correct any of there mistakes. The door lock on the door was not secure an wobbled when shoken a little bit.
