This has to be the smallest room I've ever seen in a motel. Room 122 was just big enough for the bed. There were no lamps at all in the room just overhead lighting. The bathroom heat lamp fixture had no bulb and maybe even no fixture. It was hart to tell. Also the toilet paper holder was broken so the roll was set on the bathtub. The heat didn't seem to function correctly either.
The breakfast area had no seating, just stand up counters to eat at. The breakfast was very limited.
We reported all of these items to the checkout lady and she just agreed with our observations and said maintenance was looking into them.
The only plus to our stay was the location within walking distance of the perfirming arts centre.
It certainly was a $45 motel that charges $90i think because of the location.
I would stay at a better motel in Franklin if possible.response / report this review -

The rooms are small but very cozy. The environment is very welcoming. The rooms are clean and you're provided with a small coffee pot in your room a hair dryer and little personal items. There is also free WiFi and television. You're very close to numerous shopping and eating facilities.

Front desk staff is snotty and fake. She isn't concerned with the guests but rather her paycheck. The housekeeping staff is great! Super friendly and very helpful despite them being overworked.

Staff not really friendly unless you start talking with them first. Little disappointed with room smell, especially since it was flooring and not carpet. However, it was pretty clean. For the pricereally cant complain😊

We made a reservation for the eclipse weekend. This is not where we usually stay but it was reasonable and they had an opening.
First the sliding bathroom door would not slide.We had our 7 year old grandson with us so this was unacceptable. The man at the front apologized but just said we could change rooms. However, we had already moved everything in and the room they offered was smaller yet. My husband went and got a wrench and fixed it. The guy said he would give us $30 off a day then. The towel rack was also off the wall. The spigot at the sink did not work right and the shower head holder was also broken. We had to wire it up. When we checked out, they only took $30 off for 1 day. You can draw your own conclusions as to staying here.response / report this review -

Room was not nice or clean. Told front desk the sheets had not been changed, hair and blood on themthey just handed me another set to change them myself. Air conditioning took 2 hours to cool room down. Mold on plywood bathroom door. Front desk staff could care less.

The first thing I noticed was the towel on the top of the pile had big holes and was folded in such a way that said holes were prominently displayed. Next, there was a water puddle in the middle of the bathroom floor so I used the holey towel to soak it up and the towel came away filthy. We shortly discovered that the toilet connections to the wall were leaking. Then there was the shower. This was a handicap accessible room and the roll in shower had a large, jagged crack (easily 5 inches) right next to the drain. The final straw was that the door to the room didn't close and lock properly. You had to forcibly lift the door up to get it to latch. We had booked and prepaid for 2 nights but only stayed one. We needed the accessible room for our daughter but I wasn't willing to risk injury to either of us while trying to use the shower! Upon checking out the desk clerk noted that we were leaving a day early but didn't bother to inquire as to why. We went and stayed at a hotel in Asheville and we're much happier. We won't be anywhere near this place again.

Great. Can't beat the price. Very nice. Free Wi-Fi and free breakfast. Overall very good experience! Very clean with housekeepers always visible, no bedbugs (even have protective covers on mattress which is a major positive). My wife has written corporate policies on pests and she even loved this place, which says a whole lot! We will definitely be back without a doubt. Don't listen to negative reviews By far the nicest place I've ever stayed at for only $50.

No carpet on floor. Very hard bed. Woke up with back ache. Plenty of good coffee though.

Room was mostly clean aside from a stain on the mattress. Pictures on the wall were cracked. No extra pillows were available. Average free breakfast options.

The room was great! I stayed 4 nights and the town is beautiful. I highly recommend it this hotel if you need to stay in the area.

I assumed the word Micro meant a microwave not the size of the room.
No wonder they don't have King sized beds. They wouldn't fit! The internet
was a joke. It worked for a few minutes and then no more the whole time
we were there. We chose this hotel because of the proximity of the Smokey Mountain Performing Arts Center. Now I know why this is the only place in Franklin to stay at that isn't listed on their website. We will know better next time.response / report this review
