Just finished up staying at the Monte Carlo for the Knights vs Penguin hockey game and I wanted to stay here because I’ve being going to Las Vegas since I was a kid and never been. The front desk people were nice the room was what was expected but unfortunately we came at a time they were doing construction. Bummer. But it’s the off season. I get it. I’m giving it 1 star bc there was hammer drilling going on our first night at 4am! I’m a very heavy sleeper and it woke me up. The hammer drilling did not stop all morning. Then the next night and our last night it started at 6am it felt as if the hammer drilling was in our room. I feel like if you’re doing construction hammer drill after 8 or 9am at least! It’s obviously that people would be out late and would actually like to be able to get some sleep in their hotel room.

This was a first and last time visit. I asked for a new tissue box for my room, the first suggestion given to me was to buy tissue from the gift shop. One day, our room wasn't cleaned at all. When your room is cleaned, you're given plenty of dry towels and one wash cloth. If you ask the housekeeper for more wash clothes, you're instructed to call down to the housekeeping desk. There is no 24 hour restaurant, buffet or lounge. Next time, I'm just going to spend the money and stay somewhere nice. The staff is very friendly just not always the most helpful. The restaurant Primrose, is definitely worth a visit. Our server, Jeremy, was delightful.

Usually love the Monte Carlo However They are doing so much construction I didn't even recognize it! The floors were half the size they usually are! The food court and brewery were completely closed and we were woken up at 7:00 in the morning by drilling and hammering literally above our heads!!! That being said.. Our room was newly remodeled and even though I wasn't a huge fan of the new design it seemed fresh and clean. There was a strong odor of new carpet and paint and construction guys everywhere. I'm assuming that after the construction it will be just a great as before and hopefully better!

The Monte Carlo is going thru a complete renovation. You have to excuse the layout. There is still plenty of machines to gamble on. Plenty of tables to play on. Hotel is also undergoing renovation. The new rooms are cute. I think the air conditioning vents needs a little adjusting. Part of the room stays cool. The bed area is very warm. The bathrooms are nice and great shower. I am not a fan of barn doors for bathrooms but could live with it. Would rather have a door that opens and closes. Right now with the remodeling going on I didn't think there was enough dining places. The showroom is beautiful. Great venue to see a show. Everyone working at the Monte Carlo was very friendly and helpful. I will continue to go there to watch the progress.

We stayed here for an event at T Mobile Arena. The hotel is under construction so some areas were closed. The room was clean and comfortable. There wasn't any unwanted noise in the room. The view was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Each one appeared to be enjoying their jobs. They comped us a night after we got there and we didn't even ask for it. I have no complaints. We had a great experience.

Had a Great stay here, EVEN THOUGH I paid EXTRA for a newer designed room, and I had thought it was a nice room but, all of a sudden sewer smell came from the vent or toilet and we had called the front desk they had sent somebody up and they told us there was nothing they could do but spray some Febreze type spray, I asked if we could get a new room and he said I would have to call and ask my self cause he couldn't. What I then got was the same room, but not the same color and a different view. But after seeing how hard the room service works 24 hours. I was surprised. The pool is also being renovated, the gym was amazing in my opinion not much, but enough and great type of equipment some of it was broken though. Hope MGM can help this out.

Do not stay in room 3-112! Starting at 4am on 8.26.17 the noise was unbareable and impossible to sleep through. It started with a continuous knocking sound similar to a headboard hitting the wall over and over again. We figured the next door neighbors were going at it, but after discovering the headboards are attached to the wall, we knew that couldn't be it. Then we remembered that Monte Carlo is under construction. I checked my phone and saw it was 4:40am, so it definitely couldn't be hammering from construction. The knocking noise was continuous from 4:40 am to about 5:30. Around 5am another secondary noise started. The sound was similar to someone drilling a screw into wood or similar to a phone vibrating on a wooden desk. It is now 8:45 and the second noise happens every 6-7 minutes and last for about 10 seconds. It's so loud and disturbing. At 7:30am the knocking that had stopped is now back! Now both noise are continuous. I have no idea how this hotel expects someone to be able to sleep here. I can't be the only one that has made the complaint about this room. I have no clue what is making the noise but you literally have to hear it to believe it! It's crazy loud. We called to the office twice now asking to be moved immediately, well guess what, there is no availability because its one of the biggest boxing fight weekends! Great! Now we have to wait until someone checks out at or around noon in order to be moved. Their response, "wait for a text" then your room will be ready. No one apologizes for the lack of sleep my husband and I had to endure, no one asks if they can send someone to check it out to see what the hell is creating the noise, no one cares that the lack of service and urgency is not being given to a customer. I will never stay here again and I will be sure to spread the word about my nightmare experience.

Had our honeymoon here. Was a very clean and courteous hotel. We knew the pool was undergoing renovations but not different rooms as well. Construction would start every morning at around 8-9 and you could hear it very loudly from the room. They tried their best to accommodate us by having is change rooms, and taking off the resort fees though. We upgraded to a suite and it was very well priced at only $30 more a day. The strip view wasn't really worth it, but the view of the T-Mobile arena was way better. It was spacious and temporarily our home away from home for the week. Had an amazing time, minus the construction that's why I didn't give it 5 stars. If you're looking for a hotel that has more of a casino feel to it, this wouldn't be the place to go, maybe the MGM Grand, but I enjoyed that because you're not as tempted to gamble every time you go to your car. Definitely recommend using valet as well since it's only $5 more than self parking. All in all had an awesome honeymoon.

We thought the employees were good, able to make us laugh after our long drive and long wait to check-in. We got one of the newly renovated rooms and it was great. A huge window behind the couch and a fairly interesting design scheme. The lighting at the bathroom mirror was very bright and they have a built in magnifying mirror. The lighting in the bathtub/shower area could be improved, my wife said it was hard to see as she was shaving her legs. The TV is quite large for a hotel room. There is no mini fridge in the room so we couldn't keep any drinks cold. For some reason there were three noticeable lumps in the carpet that we're pretty annoying. Parking in $10/day and the resort fee is $40. During construction they give access to their sister pools but they are crowded because of the extra people and you have to take a shuttle to get there so you can't just go for a quick dip. They had an option to check out from the room using the TV but it didn't work. They also had an option to check out online but that didn't work. The bed wasn't super comfortable either, which I had read in other reviews so that was disappointing. The construction started pretty early in the morning but we were on the 25th floor so it was pretty quiet.

Went to go see Kenny Rogers final tour. It was amazing, could not have been more happy. Easy to find The Park, and the stage was amazing. Great sound and lights effects. The staff was really nice too and directed us to our seats. After the event the lounge offered an after party at discounted prices with live music. Great Place would recommend everyone to go.

We went to the Monte Carlo to explore, grab a couple drinks, and eat dinner. The casino is large and clean. Plenty of games for everyone to enjoy. The bars are nice and cost equivalent to most hotel/casino bars. We ended up eating at a little Italian restaurant out on the patio. I say out on the patio, but in actuality we were still inside the building, under a beautiful sky painted ceiling. The food was wonderful. My wife had the Sea Bass and is still raving about it. There are lots of shops and cool things to look at, but if you visit, you have to watch the show of the statues down at the end of the mall. Lots of flames and fountains. Very entertaining. Overall we enjoyed walking through the Monte Carlo and would suggest that everyone at least stop in to see it. Worth it!

I booked at the Monte Carlo because I recognized it from the television show Vegas. This was my first trip to Vegas, and I wanted a familiar casino to start my adventure. I was not disappointed; everyone was very friendly and eager to lend a hand when asking questions on the casino floor. We are at The Brand steakhouse where I had the finest steak of my life; I never knew aging a steak could add so much flavor and depth. I am forever ruined to the backyard steak and must learn how to dry age steak myself. Our room overlooked the T-Mobile arena on a UFC fight night, and we heard next to nothing even with our room window slightly open. Overall, I am very happy with not only my first trip to the Monte Carlo, but also with Vegas.

Stayed two nights. We got a room that was second to the top floor that was facing the strip. We got a good price but the room was decent at best. Nothing special and it was a little old and dated. But it was clean and everything worked in the room. And there was a convenient food court on the lobby floor with a Starbucks which was a plus.

Walking Into the Monte Carlo you feel you're in a five star resort. The check in was fast and friendly and easy to find. The room was not five star but pretty good for a resort right in the action the Las Vegas Strip. The hallways were old but clean and the room had no maintenance issues. However the bathroom was clean but the shower head was old and disgusting. Overall the hotel was nice, clean and Modern. Worth Trying Out!

We went to the Minus 5 Ice Bar at the Monte Carlo. A very fun and unique experience. The bar tender, photographer and hostess were all friendly and accommodating. I would recommend buying a VIP experience package which covers a souvenir photo, 2 drinks and souvenir hat! We really had a great time!
