This is one of the coolest places in town. They have the most comfortable seating in the front of the bar area. The food is spectacular.

We love this place, very courteous staff, they have made me a meal that they used to make 3 years ago but do not have on the menu, if they have the ingredients they go back and check with the cook and he will make it. That's the difference between chains and local owned! Always had a pleasant experience there , even if they couldn't make my dish, linguine and clam sauce,,which is the best I ever had

Good ambience, decent food, terrible service. Burger was good, calamari tasted like it was fried from frozen. Gnocchi was very good. Server was highly unavailable and inattentive.

We arrived late for our reservation but hostess handled fine. Menu is excellent with many choices. Substitutions was gladly accepted. Salads were cold and crisp. Main courses very good, tastefully displayed. Our server, Sarah, was excellent and attentive. Would visit again.

We were a group of 6. One of the individuals in our party did not get his food until we were almost all done eating. When he finally received his meal the fish was very dry. He needless to say he sent it back and shared a meal with one of his friends at the table. The manager did come to our table & apologized stating that the chef would cook whatever he wanted but he declined since we were all done eating. Another gentleman at the table had the prime rib didn't ask for an end cut but that's what he got - it was just warm not piping hot. I was disappointed in the service and thought that they should have comp coffee or dessert for the individual who sent his food back to the kitchen but all they did is take his meal off the check. I have spoken to two managers and the owner who was going to call me back after she pulled the tickets and fully understood what happened. When she did not call me I called her back and left my name and number but to date she has not called nor compensated anyone for the what happen. Needless to say I as well as the others who were there are very disappointed in the service and food.

One of my favorite places by far. Everything we've ever ordered from here has been delicious. Their service is always great as well. The French sauce is to die for and the pecan crusted chicken is out of this world.

Phenomenal upscale restaurant. Amazing food, best services and great ambiance. I visited on a rainy evening. But the do have beautiful patio settings for a nice sit down dine in. I would recommend this place big time.

Tonight we gathered together at Monroe's to celebrate our friendship. Seven of us enjoyed not only our get together but the food and ambience. We ordered gnocchi, Chicken French, lobster mac and cheese, pan seared scallops for entrees. The accompanying salads were very fresh and crisp. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would recommend this restaurant based on our collective experience. David A.

We hosted our annual staff party here this year and we all were very impressed! The food was delicious! Taylor and her team were incredibly accommodating and were able to come up with a plan and menu that fit our budget! You could tell our business was appreciated and we felt valued throughout the entire process and night! Looking forward to our other events booked with Monroe's!

Monroe's is always an excellent experience. The waitstaff caters to your needs before you realize you need them. The food is beautifully prepared and delicious. I have had everything from salads to steaks and they have always been perfect. I have only two knocks against this place. First, the portions are outrageous. I always seem to walk out with a second meal. I would rather pay the same price and enjoy more courses. Second, this place can get ridiculously busy. Obviously this is the trait of a great restaurant, but the experience at lunch is much more relaxed.

The staff is mediocre at best and not terribly warm or friendly. While the food is good, there seems to always be a glitch of some sort. The most recent issue I faced was my credit card being double charged. When I call the restaurant to request a refund, no one answers. Guess I'll take it up with my bank.

This place is a blast from the past. Get ready to be mind blown staff for is super nice. And the drink is awesomegood place for parties romantic dates or a small get together.

Been there there a couple times. Last time out food took and our to make for party of 6. My girlfriends pasta was cold and mine was warm at best. Service was beyond slow for the small amount of people in the place. Drinks came with little to know alcoholic in them.
I do believe restaurants have off nights so I'll give it another try, just one.response / report this review
