Went to the ER for calf cramping and swelling in my foot and toes (after having severe pain in thigh and pelvis for 2 weeks prior, with numerous X rays and exams showing nothing, so PCP advised me to go to ER for ultrasound to check for DVT). Was put in a room and triaged in less than 10 minutes, great. Waited 1.5 hours for a doctor, to have a nurse come in to tell me they were taking for for an ultrasound on my leg. Fine. Nurses and ultrasound tech were very nice and prompt. Back to room to wait some more for Dr. When she finally came, she was semi rude, asking "why do you think you have a blood clot?" I explained reasons (symptoms, family history, have several risk factors) and was told that I don't have risk factors or a clot. Said my pain was Sciatica. I asked again about my extremely swollen, red and painful toes, and without even looking at my foot, dismissively said "again, sciatica" and told me to take NSAIDS. Next day, had a fever of 104, toes red and black, and can't move them. Turned out to be cellulitis, for which I needed an IV antibiotic and also a 10 day course of take home antibiotic.

On 7/7/17 called their 844 number to set up a contract for paying my bill. Called 3 separate times and was on hold for 5-10 minutes each time with no one picking up. Still have not been able to speak to anyone.

I completed my clinical experience in ultrasound here and I could tell right away how amazing everyone is. Such kind and caring souls in every part of the hospital, not just in radiology. I truly miss it here and would take my own family here anyday!

Haven't been to this hospital in 10 years. Will not be back. Saw doctor in ER for 1minute total. The whole 2-3 hours I was there. Left and went to my family Dr who diagnosed me with something totally different with completely different medications.

Very pleased with our experience at Mon General. From our arrival at the surgical center through discharge the staff was courteous, caring and friendly. It certainly made the Mrs' stay much more enjoyable. Even the food was good!

Saved my mother's life! Excellent health care - Dr. Lobban, Dr Burns and Dr. Blatt are highly skilled and professional. The team on 4th floor are incredible - the nurses (Brianna was super) aides, respiratory team (Blaine was very kind and informative) including the very kind cleaning crew (Linda!).

My wife and I had our first child here in the birthing suite and it was an amazing experience:

Facilities (5/5): State of the art facilities with wood panel floor, beautiful home decor (making it very comfortable and less "hospital-like", giant sound-proof rooms, a Jacuzzi tub for labor, and lots of equipment for natural labor. The place was CLEAN and pristine. Also, security is a #1 priority for the birthing unit, and my wife and I were very comforted by the fact that we had to have guests and all others check-in and out before entering.

Service (5/5): We did not meet a single unhappy nurse or doctor in our three days at the hospital. (This was apparently on one of their busiest weeks of the year too, when the whole suite was full). Not only were they friendly, but they were extremely competent, caring, and explained everything very well. We wanted to do a birth without any medicine, but half-way through the pain became too much for my wife. Our anesthesiologist was not pushy at all when he explained the procedures and risks for the epidural, and reinforced that it was entirely my wife's decision. Our doctor was friendly, professional. The nurse was beyond helpful and caring for my wife through labor.

There are NO RESIDENTS at this hospital, so we felt very comfortable with the service provided.

Overall, I would recommend Mon General to anyone who needs to have a baby.
