We have camoed here three times. Large campsites right on the river. Its a beautiful place.

This campground was pretty nice! Two families, 4 adults, 6 children stayed in campsites 809 and 810 which are at the far end of the campground. Both units were right off the Mohican River and were very spacious. The campground has outhouses everywhere. Didn't bother me much but the ladies in the group were pretty disgusted by them.

We have stayed at the Mohican Adventures campground in previous years. This campground is not that. They have some rules around quite time and loud music and excessive partying. Which we were just fine with. We like to listen to music, have some drinks around the fire. If your looking for a place to get really loud and stay up until 2am, this is not the place for you. We tend to be ready to go to sleep around midnight anyway after a long day of activities.

The other thing that is cool about this place is that you can bring your own tubes, kayaks, whatever and launch yourself from inside the campground and never have to leavefor free. You just need to provide your own transportation. We would let the kids launch from our campsite, and go pick them up at the end 90 minutes later.

Only downside is it is about 15-20 minutes from the go karts, restaurants or grocery stores. We camped for 2 days and found enough activities inside the campground to keep a 15, 14, 12(2), 10, and 9 year olds occupied for that time period. We also brought bikes for all of them so they could go off on there own.

There is putt putt, shuffle board, a playground, swimming pond with dive platform, basketball hoops, but all are pretty old but still functional. They also have archery which the kids liked and horse back riding and a rifle range but they were both closed for the season.

My car got stuck in the mud no one would help me. I had a hard time getting tent up asked for help, guy at desk literally shrugged his shoulders and said to ask a "neighbor". Bathrooms are gross. Paid for an electric site. Electric didn't wrk and wouldn't refund money..this all in one weekend! We will definitely be going back to Mohican adventures next time!!

Great place for camping and family fun.
Cell service is awful, but that's not the campground's fault.
The main bath house could use some work, severely lacking in privacy and amenities. When showering, it's hard to feel like you're getting clean when everything else around you is very dirty.
Staff was very friendly and even accommodating even though I was 20 minutes past check-in cut off.
The layout of the campground is great as well, almost all spots are on or near the river, making your camping trip special.

This is the nicest cleanest campground I have ever stayed at! We had a great time the entire week we stayed. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The sites are big and the store is nice and reasonable prices.we will definitely be staying here again for years to come! Highly recommend this campground that's pet friendly and had many things to do for people of all ages!

Tried to rent a site there. I filled out the online form and said I had a question and that if there were any issues, to not process my payment. The woman called me within minutes. We discussed that I would be tent camping the first night and a friend was coming with an RV for the following two nights. After she refused to let me tent camp in the RV site the first night (even though I wanted to pay full price) I determined I would not camp there. Then these nice people charged me $15 anyway as a processing fee. Not the type of people I like to give money to. Please throw your empties onto their property as you drive by to a better place.

Stayed here with the Scout Troop, while they canoed the river. Great access to the river. Might have to hike a bit to get cell phone service, but who needs that anyways. Good amenities and atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite summer excursions! Our family loves the way the camp sits on the river away from the road. The amenities are perfect for canoeing, hiking, zip lining, camp fires, and all those other wonderful campy activities. The staff is friendly and professional. Everything is clean and well taken care of. We highly recommend it. (The fall bluegrass festival is especially awesome in September!)
