  Fun day and the best ice cream ever. I ate three scoops and did not get a sugar rush. I think because it has much more natural rather than processed ingredients.

  Absolutely amazing! Ms. Helen was an extremely knowledgeable and beautiful spirited guide. The well maintained facilities captured the rich history of Velvet. The food along with the various flavors of ice cream was exquisite!!

  I don't actually like ice cream, but I love the choice of flavors and the ambiance here. And I have been a n leaks to find flavors that I actually like. Apparently on certain days it seems that half of Ohio loves it too. And they all show their love at the same time. :)

  Nice place to visit for half a day on a weekend. This place you can see how is the famous ice creams is made and learn about its history. Has nice gift store and plenty of space to sit indoor and outdoor. Has small museum of old ice cream machines. Has a nice playground to for kids and nice place for picnic.

  This is an overall great place to visit! The grounds are well kept. Pond with ducks and fish. Playground for the kids. The mill building is quaint as well as containing all that delicious Velvet ice cream! Enjoy!

  Such a beautiful place to visit for people of all ages. The sound of the giant water wheel is peaceful. There are 3 picnic shelters outside, cafe seating, a museum and free tours a restaurant and even a playground and catch and release pond. The lines can be long inside but service for ice cream moves pretty quick. Great place to take kids. Today's a whole busliad of campers were there!

  Its a mill that was built in 1817. The family that owns velvet ice cream, has been making it in the mill since 1914..
  There are displays of antique ice cream equipment and there is a big plate glass window that you can come and watch them work. The ice cream festival is also for the Sertoma club.. Craft booths and antique tractor rides along with ponies and other fine things for the kids.

  Had a "pick 2 combo" with chicken salad and a side salad. Chicken was fresh and service was super fast. Everyone was friendly and of course the ice cream is awesome. Nice place for a day trip, not a bad trip from Columbus. Lots of outside areas for picnics and enjoying nature too.
