The bar has great drinks and the best bartender jill. So much fun. All they need is a food menu and this place would be the best bar/restauruant in town. It might already be the best bar in le Clair.

The honey whiskey is pretty good and the bourbon is better than the big manufacture brands. It's not the best micro distillery product I've ever had but its darn good.

I grew up in Bettendorf and whenever I come back into town to visit family, I always make sure to stop by Mississippi River Distilling Co. Last time I was there, I was hoping to pick up a bottle of Cody Road Double Barrel whiskey and some Iowish Cream liqueur. However, Ryan informed me that the Double Barrel wasn't going to be released for another couple of days. Luckily, Ryan was still able to grab me a bottle of it from the back regardless of the official release date. World class customer service! The only thing better than their customer service is the quality of their products. I ended up walking out of the distillery that day with everything that I had hoped to get, as well as a bottle of their coffee liqueur. If you ever find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.

Amazing distillery run by friendly people. Well worth the stop. They offer a tasting after the free 15 minute tour. We actually signed up to fill our own bottles before arriving (check the website). We were allowed to fill and take home 6 bottles of bourbon and I was able to take home my own empty barrel! Scot showed us around and was more than willing to explain the process of how everything was made. He was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I tasted the honey infused bourbon and the blood orange drink - both amazing. Highly recommended.
