This place is great, I always try to head downstairs for some shuffleboard (or pocket billiards).
Very good food too. If you like wings and don't get them while you are here, there is something deeply wrong with the way you make your life decisions. I'm sorrythey are so good.. you will understand when you try them.
Also, this place does get packed during prime hours so a good place to go/avoid depending on your mood.
We walked in and were largely ignored by the staff. Saw an open table and sat down, only to be told that there was a wait, and we would be seated next. I grabbed a beer at the bar, which actually had good service and a solid net selection. After waiting for 30 minutes, I had zero confidence that we would ever get a table, as there was no host/hostess station that was actually managing a wait list. We left to go find somewhere else to eat. The food that we saw come out of the kitchen smelled great, I hope to go back and try it some other time.
I previously posted, but it got taken down. I wonder if the owners dispute negative reviews as they seem to comment on positive ones. I ordered a pizza and it was soggy and weird tasting. After sending it back and getting attitude from a waitress I ordered wings. Apparently the kitchen staff thought complaining about soggy pizza meant I wanted wings that were so burned I couldn't eat them. I was so disgusted I threw them out. Since they can not seem to take any criticism without retaliation, I would bet this review will not survive.
It is frustrating to go to a restaurant that use to make good food and see it decline over time. Over the years the food has gotten worse and this was enough for me.
The tables are not properly cleaned between seatings and often there is a thick layer of sauce or something caked on any table you sit at. The staff is often too busy talking or hanging out if it is slow and seem to care more about social interaction than service. This is based off of many visits that will not be repeated.
This place gets 5 stars because of the wings. They're absolutely as good as people say they are.
Great selection of drinks, huge menu, friendly staff - especially downstairs. They have a patio upstairs as well as downstairs.
This is definitely a hometown place nothing glamorous, just good eats! The menu is extensive (and growing) but I only go for the wings. There's half priced wings before 6pm and you cant NOT get them. If you are a doubter, this is the perfect opportunity to try them.
Food was pretty good. Wings were amazing. Great portions. Giant burgers. Waitress was nice. Only con is this sign they have in the entrance that says something like no colors, no attitudes, which threw my husband off at first. He thought it was racial. My thoughts were "I hope it isn't & even if it is, this is America so I don't care! My $ is green and that's the color that counts right now (my inner defiant Latina roared with a hip sway)". So, I resorted to Google to show him it supposedly meant "no gang colors". Even so, it did make for an awkward experience being that we were the only non Caucasian people there at the time. Maybe a publicity stunt? Who knows? Anyway, wings are 5 stars. Minus 1 for the weird memory.
A popular watering hole. I had heard they had great food and generous portions, but.
The first thing you see before walking in, is a sign that says "No Colors, No Attitude." What does that mean, exactly? I mean, really? ( I did notice that the clientele was all white folks. )
The service was way, way too slow. I almost walked out, I was hungry and we waited about a half hour just for the appetizers. And when we got there, they were not busy, but it did get busy 30 mins after we got there, and we still had not gotten our appetizers yet. And I never saw the same waitress twice. The wait staff were polite, thou.
The food & portions were just okay. The Mac&Cheese balls had so much salt on them that I couldn't taste anything else but the salt. What's up with that? The onion rings were okay, not the best I've had. (When the Onion rings at Sonic are better than these, it's an issue) The ribs were just okay, they could have been cooked a bit more.
If this is the kind of food that locals think is "great", then it is no wonder that people have health problems. I would not think of this place again when looking for a place to eat.
Just go! Trust me you'll love love love it the way I do. My favorite place to eat! The wings are out of this world! Beer is cold and staff is friendly. Best wings this side of the Mason Dixon line.
I went on a Friday night and it was beyond packed it was a little difficult to find parking so try not to go too late at night. They also had a live band which made the vibe of the bar so much better. Unfortunately I think personally that their drinks are not strong enough. You have an option to stay upstairs or downstairs and has nice patio outside to get some fresh air. Would definitely go back again plus they have chickens in the tree 😂
Nice place to hangout with an upstairs and downstairs bar. They have a pool table, darts, shuffle board, and bar top games. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.
Best wings ever! Excellent craft beer selection and large bar. Pool tables and another bar downstairs. Nice deck out back with a view of the creek. The bartenders are great!
Awesome wings in the world.. HALF price special before 6pm. Alot of Really nice people come from all over just for their WINGS. !! HAD GREAT TIME!!
Amazing bar!!! Love the live music drinks and especially amazing waitresses. We were here from visiting family and wow loved it.
Whomever said they weren't acknowledged are bullshitters. I would never believe them. And like i stated earlier I'm out if town but raised in jersey and i have never been here.
