  Trails were well groomed. Very friendly. Bathroom had poor ventilation and smells bad.

  I've skied a lot of places, but this is my favorite, hands down. Not only do they have some of the most beautiful, well groomed trails I've ever seen (consistently), but you can't beat their amenities. Ski chalet with food AND ski shop. There are also nice stops out in the woods for cookies and hot chocolate, bonfires, etc. Trails for all skill levels. Great place for the whole family to spend a day, or a competitive solo skier to put in some serious training. If you have not been here, you're missing out.

  Minocqua Winter Park is a fantastic place to enjoy the outdoors in winter, and particularly winter sports. The extensive ski trail system (groomed for classic and skate) offers a variety of terrain, topography and challenge for beginners through experts. They also make the experience fun for children by offering cookies along the trail and wildlife facts at stations along the way. Warming huts offer tea, snacks and cozy fires. The park grooms their wilderness trails for fat bikes, setting a great track. The only downside are the branches (some quite big) that reach across the track on some trails and make it difficult not to run into the parallel classic ski tracks. You can, however, connect the trails to a pond that’s scenic and fun. The park also offers ice skating, snow tubing and snowshoeing. The chalet is cozy, offering chairs around a small fireplace, a refreshment area with hot foods and beverages, and a small ski shop. I’d prefer to give a 4.5 star rating, because the only reason MWP doesn’t get a 5 from me is the warming hut is chalet and gets quite crowded with the number of people who take advantage of all the park offers.

  Always IMPECCABLE grooming and today was no exception. Super COLD temps with LOW winds and sunshine made for the best possible experience despite squeaky snow with slow glide

  Great tubing hill although it gets a little crowded. Cant argue with free ice skating.

  XC ski trails groomed to perfection. Pond for ice skating. Years ago was a downhill ski area. Now the rope tow is used to lift tubes to top of the hill for a wonderful slide down. Keeps the kids entertained while everybody else keeps xc skiing. Hopefully someday soon will have Fat Bike trails too. Chalet is warm with snacks, soup, and warm drinks for sale. Functional bathrooms.
