Bathrooms are clean, staff are friendly. Wish that there was a way to stop people from climbing out onto Miner's Castle, but what can you do, right? People will be inconsiderate. Don't be one of them.

This place has a wealth of information pertaining to Miners Castle and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Nice selection of books and maps along with the usual fare of knick-knacks and souvenirs.

The Miners Castle Information Station is a good location to view the beauty of Pictured Rocks and Miners Castle. There is a road that can take you directly to the main building and then it is a short, paved, walk to the lower and upper overlook. The overlooks will provide you a good picture opportunity without hiking all day. If you are hiking, the Information Station is a good, clean, restroom break opportunity.
