Great road course. Was there with group organizer Auto Interests. They run a good HPDE program. Down side of the facility was the jiffy johns - totally unacceptable, were not emptied from previous even.
This place really need some work I came here for the Indy Honda 200. It needs new concessions. And a lot better signage. Like where things are concessions this way exit this way and so on and so forth. You could easily set up a real trolley that takes you all the way around the course charge a dollar if it's about money. But the thing that struck me most is you need to have a larger police presence there was no security no police, it was a lot of people sitting in the grass that were getting pissed drunk on moon shine and smoking weed. And finally you really need to make it more Ada accessible I got a bum knee, and there's no reason why you couldn't add steps into the side of the Hills. And some actual sidewalks that are made of concrete not dirt. Won't be back.
Just did my first Track Day there. I couldn't be more pleased with how it went. Entire staff was 100 percent dedicated to making sure we had a great time. And they repeatedly asked us if everything was good, and it was. Special shout out to our coach Chris. He had a great way of explaining what we were working on each session without overwhelming us with ideas. Excellent rider coach.
Mid-Ohio is one of the best road courses in North America. Lots of great observation mounds. The Keyhole, the esses above turn 5 are great spots to watch the action. Take comfortable walking shoes. You will do a lot walking out there. We did 10 miles over the course of the Honda Indy 200 weekend. Get a paddock pass too. Mid-Ohio has garages with a second level observation deck or gallery view so you can watch crews work on the cars. Only thing that could be improved on out there are new grandstands on the back stretch and track security and local law enforcement needs to do a better job of cracking down on all the dumb drunk adults and kids under 16 driving stupid all over the place in golf carts. Other than that, great place to go watch top level professional racing.
Had never been here before and loved course layout. Had been a long time since I've attended INDY car race, really enjoyed. Plenty of Staff to direct people where you need to go and at concessions. Screen and tower set up excellent. Lots of walking unless on a golf cart. Campground area looked nice from where I was at.
A lot of friendly people
Fun to watch races and see car you won't see any where else in the area.
What's not to love? Amazing road course, spacious paddock and good facilities. My favorite track.
Top of the line facility in every regard. Over the years I been there for an Indy Car race, pro motorcycle race, Vintage Motorcycle Days and a motorcycle track day. Always clean and well organized.
I have been to several (7+) events at this track, including motorcycle and car racing. I love the vintage days events with a huge swap meet and road, trials, and dirt racing all happening simultaneous to camping, swap meet, and 20,000 fans driving around. what a rush.
Fantastic course and the facility is well kept up. Great place for kids as they can roam around the track on all the grassy hills. I love watching a race hear!
