There is so much to say about this hotel. First of all, one star for the cleanish room. The rest was absolutely the worst I have ever experienced with any hotel I have ever stayed with. Everything stunk, there was a condom in the outlet of the Pepsi vending machine, food was horrible, wait staff was ok at first but then proceeded in getting into a large personal fight with someone in the lobby, very uncomfortable. Will never stay with this chain again.

The staff at this location are absolutely horrendous. Ridiculous actually. The desk clerk acted like they were annoyed when a question was asked. They kept making mistakes one after another. We booked for 2 nights and found out they double booked our room to someone else. I had to run next door to the gas station to get the proper change cause the desk clerk complained she had nothing smaller then one 20 dollar bill in her drawer and said i needed the exact amout. $72. 30 odd cents. Im a guest and had to run her errand. They were so rude we decided to leave that afternoon even though it was paid for. Then she kept making snobbish comments. Thomasville area needs to rethink who they have greeting guests. My fiance and I decided we will never stay at another Microtel anywhere do to this. Horrible service!!! The vending machines stayed broke. Now the lady on the 3rd shift was super friendly. It was the daytime desk clerk that acted like everything was a bother. No communication between the shifts. And she was always in gone to the point I went looking for her on 2 occasions.

I wish I could give no stars ! Do not!!!! Stay at this hotel, spend the extra couple dollars and stay elsewhere. The toilet completely broke and leaked in our room which is out right disgusting so my bf takes a video and looks into it further. He realizes the toilet was already broken and someone fixed it so with the first flush it broke! He couldn't get it to hold so he went to front desk. He showed lady the issue she acted like there was nothing that could be done. I asked for discount upon check out that lady told me wait for Lawana Jawana whatever the name is, she is the manager.

On the phone she then tells me they could have changed my room! Yet they didn't, nor did she give that option.

The toilet being broken is like the shower being broken, unacceptable!
She then tells me "you already had 18% off your room" when you booked it online" (nothing to do with the situation) and no wonder!!! The toilet was broken, coat hanger falling off door, room reaks of smoke. Should be at 50% Motel Cost

With that being said she offered 5 dollars off my price. So pathetic like this establishment probably needs it more than I, keep the five dollars.

I'll never stay here again and no one I know will, my family won't no one! I wish I spent a few more dollars and got a better hotel. Even for one night.

Honestly if the hotel hunkered down and gave me a better option like 50% off next stay making it real worth it, making me feel better or even 50% backI mean that's unacceptable, accept that fact, fix the problem, move on. No, not JAWANA she was being cheap, rude, and acted like it wasn't a big deal. They probably get complaints all the time. Don't go through what I did go somewhere else.

On the plus side, the people were pleasant and the room was clean. Breakfast was not only poor, but poorly managed. We came downstairs at 7:30 (breakfast started at 6:30), and almost all of the food was gone. No pastries, three bagels, almost no fruit available. Tables had not been bussed, there were food remnants and sticky spots on tables. One guest had to ask for coffee cups, because none remained at the coffee pot. While our room was generally satisfactory, the door did not lock properly - when we arrived I just pushed the door and it opened without the key, and it took numerous tries to lock the door behind us when we went out for the day. We could not get it locked when we were checking out. We were also charged more than the posted rack rate, because it was a "special event".

Checked in and right back out. Roaches in room and the staff insisted on charging us. Wish Google let me post video here to show everyone.

The next morning the lady who checked me out had be on duty the day before and called me by name and said she hoped I had a wonderful day I think her name was Lannana not sure of the spelling. The night clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and it's not near all the hustle and bustle but close enough to the bigger areas

My iPad was stolen off the bedside table. Front desk cared not at all. Didn't offer to comp the room, figure out how to file with their insurance, nada. I have to stay another night, & I don't really feel safe. Glad I'm leaving in the morning.

IPad stolen from my room. Management on sight totally unhelpful. It literally costs us hundreds of dollars to stay here. Seems like a small family operation, but this could have and should have been handled better.
