I adore this bed and breakfast. Such kind people running this beatiful family business. Chris (the owner) is such a kind hearted man who with his family, opened his arms and doors for us and allowed us to stay at his beautiful home. The rooms are clean and newly renovated, the food they prepare is one of the best I have ever tried and the night life is great. 2 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from drinks at the pier, but instant access to a beautiful view and an amazing star gazing at night. I recommend to anyone passing by Fort Pierce to stay here. You won't regret it. The photo below was taken near Christmas time at night. Their home is beautiful and decorative.

I am so glad to have the experience to stay at the Mellon patch it is a quaint but I have taken many pictures to show you how beautiful it is and what beautiful breakfast is you have at all times coffee is made for me and guest he has high marks and trip advisory he also caters for many people he is a chef at that he goes out of his way to help you as our owner should but beyond a owner Chris is remarkable bed so comfy the porch is comfortable he has the fireplaces outside if it is a chilly night which never much happens but it is there for you he has a great porch with rocking chairs great atmosphere what more can I say I just wanted to make sure the nuff gets told how much he reaches out to people when they stay I'll be back for Thanksgiving he's having Thanksgiving dinner and my husband and I will be back I hope this review happens to help it's a great little getaway

I highly recommend. Michelle and Chris are wonderful. Food was excellent. Just warm ,awesome accommodations. Definitely would come back again. Loved it, can't say enough good things about this place.

The best place you can stay while visiting Florida! A true home away from home feeling. You can't start you mornings better than the home cooking of the owner every morning. (Best breakfast I've ever had). You will love staying here and never look for another place other than the Mellon Patch Inn.

Best bed and breakfast EVER! We totally loved it and will be back for sure! We stayed at the paradise suite; our bed was incredibly comfy, beautiful decoration, super clean and awesome bath tub. We had access to the back yard, with a pool, huge yard for our little puppy to run free; the pool is nice, beautiful view with a doc to the waterway were you can canoe and paddle board; just across the street from a beautiful beach. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE!!! Chris is an amazing cook!!! His little girl Cady is such a cute hostess. The whole place is incredibly peaceful and the energy is great. We fell in love with it and deeply recommend it over any chain hotel! Wow!!! This was our fist time here and we will definitely be back! Thank you Chris, Cady and The Mellon Patch family for this very special weekend and incredibly warm hospitality! ❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Got a kayak rental here. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend them enough! The rental was done through Lisa's Kayaks.

Perfect location, close to the beach, has a backyard at the water where you can paddle out. Possibility to rent bikes and kayaks. The owners are extremely friendly and make you feel at home.

My husband and I love to stay in B&Bs. We have probably stayed in about 30 in the past 20 years. That being said, Our favorite by far is the Mellon Patch Inn. The owners, Chris and Michelle - along with their precious daughter Cady, live on the premises. The rates are great and the keep the place This is perfect for us because we tow our boat down often. There are so spotless. To top it off, Chris is a chef and cooks the most delicious breakfast. The beach and the navy seal museum is right across the street and there is a nice public boat ramp about 1 mile from the inn. many great restaurants and churches near by. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Great family owned place. Really enjoyed the stay and felt rested the next day. Breakfast was awesome. Beach access is right across the street. Lots of nice things to see in the immediate area. Will return for sure.
