It's cozy if on the water. It is spread out in different areas so you have to drive to get to the lobby. They have WiFi but it is horrible, at least we're I was at. Also room staff stole a charger from me.

I've actually never stayed here but I drive an 18 wheeler and Lisa was so kind over the phone answering all my questions and accommodating my large vehicle. I then had to cancel before arriving due to hours of service and Lisa was extremely polite and understanding. Next time I'm around I'm definitely staying there.

This place is so cool. It's located right on the water in Sebastian Florida. iIt also has a hotel complex attached to it, so if you if you end up having a little too much to drink you can stay right there. I recommend it highly. The food is great the drinks are better.

Love staying here when I'm planning on being in the area. Had bit of a challenging experience with minor problems with Bar/restaurant with details missed 0n reservation of private room for party of 30+ but we overcame. Otherwise always enjoy my time in area

The view from the bar is wonderful. The atmosphere is fun and the band was good. We were only there for drinks which were ok and is the primary reason I'm only rating 4 stars instead of 5. Several of the mixed drinks we ordered were mediocre and we didn't finish them. Overall, the experience was good.

We had an amazing lunch at the sand bar today. Jenna was our sever and I had been eyeing the crab artichoke dip but my friend was not interested until Jenna suggested it and we both fell in love. Thank you Jenna for your awesome recommendation and amazing service, we will definitely be back.

Cons Very Overpriced Fungus on shower roof Had to call maintenance to fix wink My wife and I cut out foot on the bed frame Lamps mounted to walls had the wire coverings hanging out the wall Bottle water in room without sign stating they are 3 dollars each Smelled like a cheap brothel. Overly perfumed like a glade scented plug in had exploded moments before entering Breakfast employee was over burdened and the setup was terrible. The amount space was to small and there was lots of people waiting to get food The breakfast was terrible Outdoor pool shower had no shower head Pros Great location Nice pool

Food was good but service sucked. Our server came by once, she was nice enough but very elusive. Food came to the table and no plates, salad arrived no dressing, drinks emptied and we had to serve ourselves. The staff does know the phase "ok I will be right back" but they don't know what it means. Was this place sold? It used to be really good. Won't be making the trip to Hiram's again.

We had lots of family gather here for my great-aunt's 99th birthday. Everything was wonderful, especially the hospitality staff. You could tell they enjoyed their job! They were very helpful with our 4-legged travel companions!

Whenever I visit my family in Sebastian, FL I always make a point to stop in to Captain Hiram for at least one evening. Everything about this place is just spectacular. I've never stayed in the hotel, but I have talked to a few travelers at the bar who were pleasantly surprised with how accommodating they are. The outdoor restaurant/bar (Blackfins) is the perfect place to spend a warm afternoon out by the river. You can kick off your flip flops, dig your toes in the sand, sip a fruity cocktail and listen to live music on the stage. The food is pretty good, but also kind of pricey. The menu is loaded with some really great seafood options along with traditional bar foods. I think they will even cook any fish you catch and bring in too! I love, love, love the fish tacos!!! There is a good mixture of locals and tourists that frequent this place, which makes for a fun relaxing atmosphere. The staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable, which is a nice change of pace for this "yankee" to experience. If you find yourself in the area, definitely make it a point to stop in and check it out.

ordered clam chowder never got it, fish and chips cold, my daughter ordered broiled scallops got something else by the tine her correct order came, it was scallops only no baked potato, scallops very salty. price quoted to us was 7 scallops for $20.00, then charged $29.00. manager then took a measly $5.00 off each order. any reputable restaurant would have taken my uneaten meal off the bill. rest assured one of the most unpleasant experiences I.ve had at a restaurant. I will pass it along!!

We stayed on the water above the restaurant the room was great. Family brought a pontoon boat it wouldn't fit in the slip they gave us and they were very accommodating and said what can we do and moved us. It was an awsome stay and the food was great.

Nice place, uncomplicated. We passed through Sebastian for Skydiving and stayed at Capt Hiram's. Nice bar and restaurant with beach at the Indian River. We have had a room with great view.
We'll come back any time when we are in Sebastian
