Unfortunately we had two deaths in our immediate family within one year. We used McVeigh for both services. Dave and staff (especially Betsy) were so kind, accommodating and caring. Kristin did a fabulous job of making my mother-in-law look like herself, before she got sick, and everyone who came commented on that. We can’t thank them enough for making an extremely difficult time, a little easier.

My sister passed away in Albany where none of our family lives so we relied on reviews to find McVeigh Funeral Home. Brian was professional, helpful, thoughtful and efficient in helping us through this difficult process. Expenses were reasonable and they were kind enough to individually send death certificates direct to each person who needed one. THANK you for being there for our family and handling things so incredibly well. Dana

McVeigh Funeral Home provided the best possible funeral service we could have expected. We received guidance on all aspects and planning for the wake and funeral services. The coordination and execution of the various funeral services and components was faultless and carried out with utmost professionalism and understanding. The staff were all helpful and David was genuinely comforting for our family. The facilities were excellent.

McVeigh Funeral Home was amazing in the recent loss of my father. David met with us and was compassionate, understanding and very professional. He walked us through every step in a simplified manner and answered any questions we had. From the person who came to our home to the staff who worked our service, everything was top notch during our difficult time. We can't thank you enough!

Planning a funeral is often an emotional and painful experience as details and logistics need to be taken care of while coping with the loss of a loved one. McVeigh’s Funeral Home recently assisted with the arrangements of a beloved family member. Dave and Kristin helped us with compassion and tact, respect and being sensitive to a number of family members involved. All of wishes were met and we knew our loved one was cared for with dignity. Having such a competent team manage the logistics enabled our family to focus on each other and grieve for our loved one.
