Everyone was super friendly and my vehicle was in and out quicker than anticipated. They gave me a courtesy shuttle home and when they were done I was offered a shuttle back to the dealership. When I got there, they even went out to retrieve my vehicle and pull it around for me.

The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I emailed them inquiring something 2 days prior to my appointment and never got a reply back. I don't have a phone so in many cases, I only have email as a method of communication.

The entire thing had me stressed out about being left without a vehicle and this dealership made the whole process painless and stress free. I would return there.

    Hello,

My name is Lindsey and my wife’s name is Bambi. I wanted to alert you to the appalling and discriminatory experience my wife had earlier this week at a local Chrysler dealership.

We have a Dodge Avenger that recently had a recall issued on it. On Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 8:00AM, Bambi went to McInerney's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Allen Road in Woodhaven to drop the car off for the service needed. After checking in, my wife stood inside the building by the door and waited for my mother to pick her up. While standing there she heard a service employee named Zach Wright, not knowing she was still in there, say to other people around him, "All we get in here is trash, Mexicans, and Dykes with babies." He then proceeded to comment about wondering how we got pregnant, stating, "Must have just shot it up there.” Bambi heard every word of this person's diatribe; so did other employees of the dealership. She confronted him and he responded with “I wasn’t talking about you, it was about someone from last week.” This was clearly not true nor did it make matters any better. The service manager Kenneth B was also confronted when my mom got inside to defend my obviously shaken wife. He apologized then followed that apology with reports that he cannot fire Zach and that it is tough to find good help these days and he wishes he could find older employees so stuff like this did not happen. My wife left upset and completely offended and in shock. I was brought to tears when she called to let me know about the incident.

When the car was finished, my wife and mother spoke with Mike Martin, Kenneth’s supervisor, who said he was appalled, and that he would investigate thoroughly and get back to her. He promised both of them that he would be taking this to the McInerneys directly.

There was another employee named Dale that told Bambi and my mom that he had heard every word of it, and was shocked by his co-workers behavior. At that point, Bambi was told she would be given some free oil changes. REALLY?!

It is a sad story that in 2017, almost 2018, my wife was judged and discriminated against based solely on how she looks and racist assumptions. We, my wife, our son and myself were insulted to the core. It is bad enough that we have to worry about our son being made fun of by other kids, but adults making comments like he did and this company standing behind him is disgusting.

I am a hospice nurse and Bambi works for Motor City Solutions, we have a 16-month-old son. We are contributing members of our community. I could not be more proud of my family and I assure you that we will be moving out of the downriver area before our son starts school to try to avoid this type of treatment/behavior.

Now, several days later there has been no additional communication from the dealer on what course of action they would be taking. I am sure they are hoping that this goes away.

My wife and I do not have Facebook accounts and are not active in social media; that is why I am writing to warn people.

Please help us get the word out about this community dealership that supports racism and bigotry.

Casey Dettloff is an outstanding salesman. My new Jeep Grand Cherokee is the first car I have ever owned- I am in love with it! Casey offered superior service, as he was able to answer all of my questions, provide key information and assistance to ease along my transition into becoming a new Jeep owner. He listened to my concerns and paid great attention to my description of what I was looking for. He did not pressure me into spending outside my budget. Not only did he find the perfect vehicle for me, but he continues to be of assistance whenever I have questions. I had a great experience with McInerney's dealership and would recommend them to anyone who is interested!
    Thank you!

Wouldn't recommend them to anyone not even my worst enemy. Took my truck in 11/24 to get a price on a oil change & coolant flush the next day the price goes up $ 35.00 after telling me he can save me 10% really I see how that works! The service manager was very rude when I tried telling him the quote I got yesterday he says they shouldn't have told you that then proceeded to tell me we can go at this all day " REALLY " very much dissatisfied wish I could tell you how I really feel! I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Made a appointment 3 weeks in advanced. Was told it was going to be 2 hours. When I arrived, extremely busy. Said it was going to take all day if they got to it today.

I saw Pete, he took a walk with me through the lot to see what model of the 2018 Compass I was interested in. I was happy that he did that and really considered how I felt. He did not try to put me in something I was not happy with, he also did not pressure me into buying other items or buying a more pricey car.

    Hello Casey,
Our family wanted you to know how much we appreciated the exceptional customer service that we received last Saturday, July 29th.
As you know, we started our day planning to just "shop around", not thinking that our son would be leaving with a beautiful 2017 Jeep Patriot on the same day!.
You were so patient with us, showing us multiple options and thoroughly answered all of our questions! You excelled in how you treated us and by far, you are the best Sales Consultant that we have encountered in the many years of buying vehicles.
We will certainly recommend you to friends and family in the future!
Again, on behalf of our family, THANK YOU!!
    Graciela, Jaime and Alejandro V

Mike Queen not only earned 5 stars but a halo as well. His diligent efforts in helping me obtain a lease was impressive. He went above and beyond to satisfy my requirements and help resolve issues in the business office. I don't agree with disposition fees. If it weren't for him I would have walked away and not close the deal. He is professional and honest.

Thoroughly upset right now with the results of their service department. I went in two days ago for an alignment and oil change. Based on the sound my car was making when I would accelerate, I knew something was wrong with the front end of my vehicle and asked for an inspection.

After the inspection I was told my rear suspension needed work. I gave consent for the rear suspension to be serviced and paid in full. On the way home while driving down I-94 I noticed the hood of my car bouncing. THEY DIDN'T CLOSE MY HOOD ALL THE WAY! In addition to this major safety concern, there is still something clearly wrong with the front end of my car. It actually sounds and feels a bit worse. Whether it's the tirod or axle I'm unsure, but I don't understand how you miss something like that during an inspection. Was my front end ever inspected at all? I travel across the state (reaching from Auburn Hills to Grand Rapids) for work and cannot afford to drive an unsafe vehicle because these people missed something.

I still have to return to this dealership for the rest of the parts to be installed so that the rear suspension is complete. Even if it means paying more money, I'm considering taking my business elsewhere after this mess!

Update as of one week later: I went to a more honest dealership to check the integrity of the suspension of my vehicle. Not only were they able to determine the issue with the front end of my vehicle, but it turns out that my rear sway bar links that I was supposed to return to McInerney's to have replaced didn't need to be replaced at all, the bolt needed to be tightened. TIGHTENED, NOT REPLACED! I saved over $150 by going to a more honest dealership rather than returning to this place.

Unfortunately now I need to question whether or not any of my rear suspension needed service in the first place! That's over $600 worth of work that I paid for and probably never needed. I still have yet to hear back from anyone responsible for the issues I had with this place. Cowards!

I am now on my 5th lease from McInerney's and couldn't be happier!! As I went from a used vehicle to my first lease, I was very hesitant and nervous but they quickly changed that and that is why I am still doing business with them. From my salesperson to the sales managers, everyone was very helpful, polite, efficient and very professional. I feel like I am getting the right car for the money and have never once felt that I was being ripped off like I have at other dealerships. I have also been bringing all of my vehicles here to their service department for the last 15 years and they too have been exceptional. Even though sometimes I may have to wait or leave my car for a few days, they always do their best to accommodate. They too like the sales staff have always been friendly, super helpful and professional. Overall I give the company 5 stars. I realize I am not their only customer and that sometimes things may not always go perfect but they definitely do their best and their best is pretty great.

My wife and I came in looking to turn in my lease early, we were greeted by a very kind and knowledgeable salesman Casey Dettloff. He was able to get us everything we needed and more. We test drove a few cars that were in our budget and ended up getting the Dodge Journey GT. Casey did everything he could to help us out and get us what we wanted, not once did we feel pressured in to buying our vehicle. This is our second vehicle we have purchased from him and will continue to buy from him. Great Salesman !!!

    Thanks Again
    Jon

The salesperson, Tanen Roe, did an excellent job of showing me exactly what I was interested in, was never pushy, and made the entire experience pleasant and enjoyable. I never felt like I was being rushed or that it was taking too long. He kept me informed throughout the process and the rest of the staff was friendly throughout the process as well. The dealership is always clean and presents well. I will continue to purchase vehicles for my family from McInerney.

The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the sales guy was nice. Went in to test drive a car and they asked if I came in on some sale. Told them no but I had to sign up and listen to this guy they said was from corporate get out the sales pitch. The sales guy that I was then introduced to was nice and friendly. Looked at a few cars went on a test drive. They appraised our truck at $4000 which was $3500 less than another dealer in the area. The sales guy said they would call us back to get the deal working and get a better price on our trade. Never did, so another dealership was happy to sell us our Grand Cherokee. Not the local dealer of choice anymore.
