Absolutely have to stop here. The best key lime pie ever. The line goes out the door even in the winter.

Top notch service. I live an hour and a half from this bakery and I'm willing to make the drive for their baked goods. I mostly place orders in advance. The cakes are always fresh and moist.

BEST. BAKERY. EVER. Get ready to become addicted to this place! There are so many cake and cupcake selections, it's impossible to get tired of anything here. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This place is super cute and welcoming.

A must if you are near Greensboro area. Known for their cakes, but have other great desserts as well. Be prepared to wait in line to order, but even along the outside of the building during weekends. Had the German Chocolate Cake and Sour Cream Coconut Cream Cake. There is so many selections of cakes, make sure you get coffee with your slice.

Our wedding cake was made here. They did a very understated design like we wanted, but they didn't hold back elsewhere. The cake itself was spectacular, with the perfect amount of icing. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I heard great things about Maxie B cakes. My goodness! The line was forming out from the door when we arrived. I sat out front while the Mrs went in for us. She brought me a slice of Deutsche chocolate cake - so good.

Great selection of gluten free cupcakes, and large portion sizes. Good ratio of cake to frosting - cupcakes from other bakeries can have frosting the same height as the cake, but these were much more reasonable at around 3:1. Went on a Saturday night and the line was out the door, but they were well staffed and efficient so the wait wasn't long.

Amazing cakes! Amazing slices! Every time I'm in Greensboro I must stop here. But it ain't cheapso you know. And be prepared for possible long lines, like winding out the door. I've waited 45 minutes before, but the cakes are just that good.

Love the quaint atmosphere, but the quality of the actual cake is poor. We have been there 2 times, and have tried 6 cake flavors and 2 cupcake flavors. The cake is very, very dry, however; the icing on all flavors was rich and flavorful. My 7 year old loved her cupcakes, but her palate is still developing;). The line was out the door both times we went, indicative of a higher quality cake- but unfortunately, it's simply not the case. We won't return, as even after a second attempt, the cake experience was unchanged. Perhaps the baker(s) can adjust the moisture factor in the recipes to yield a cake equal to the flavor of the icing, and worth the wait and cost.

Do you like cake? You'll like their cake. The sheer number of people enjoying their cake will tell the tale of how good their cake is. The speed with which they can work THROUGH that crowd will tell you how long people have been enjoying their cake.

Go. Enjoy cake. Don't let the line scare you - they can work through it pretty darned fast, and at the end of that line is the counter where you'll get cake.

(I had the five flavor pound cake. It was excellent. I tried the other cakes from our party and they also were excellent.)
