  This place has never been one of my favorite stores. It's a tourist trap and it's way over priced. If that is what you are looking for its not terrible, but it's not a store that you actually go to shop in.

  Christian was so helpful and patient with trying on shoes. Really good selection of clothes. Love the old fashioned games and toys. And left with 2 pounds of old fashioned candy!

  Oh my oh my the candy runs over. They literally (that did not mean figuratively) have barrels of candy. As a fast kid I can say this was awesome. Grab a bag and start filling it up. You can put all kinds of stuff in one of these bags. We always buy too much candy. I guess I should mention that they sell clothes camping gear and much much more but they have candy. Oh and shoes. But candy. Yes.

  This place seemed to be lacking, despite all the items. Half the store is clothes. Then most of the rest are toys. Many are modern toys. They then have candy by the pound but most of them were ones you can buy anywhere.
  
  I was hoping for some homemade goods, maybe some old fashioned drinks in bottles. Maybe some more adult or practical items.
  
  So. Great for kids. Not so much for adults.

  A nice walk back in time. The newer store has a ton of candy, sundries, some clothes and the original store is full of nostaligia like "old time" toys and gifts, clothing, kitchen items, etc. Seems like they have almost everything there. Staff is very very kind and courteous andbonusthey have a genuine old style Coca-Cola soda cooler. Even better, the post office inside is real, as are the post office boxes in one of my attached photos. Just a fun experience in a delightful community!

  Clothing, shoes, camping, cooking, hiking and more! Mast is not the cheapest place to shop, but it's because all of their inventory is current. You're not getting last falls fashion when you buy that new sweater. You're not buying "discount" camp gear, you're buying the best available. If you prefer the newest, nicest stuff, then Mast has you covered. When in Boone, be sure to check out the Candy Barrel as well, they're attached so you can't miss it.

  The 🍬 Candy Barrel is awesome! You take a bucket and pick from a vast array of old fashioned Candy. Stuff you had when you were a kid! So much to choose from. They weigh it and charge by the pound.

  We purchased postcards of the area. However, we browsed some high quality clothing and shoes, designed for cold country. The staff proved both friendly and knowledgeable.

  Great local store. Different variety of candies is the best part! Also they have great gifts and old fashioned games and toys from the "Old Days". I love to go in and see what they have every-time I get a kick out of all the different toys I used to remember as a kid!

  This place had the old time feel of the general store from Little House on the Prairie. They have a crazy selection of souvenirs & I was able to find something for almost everyone in my family. My greatest find was whistle pops from when I was a kid. My dad used to buy them for me from cracker barrel but I hadn't been able to find them since. I was so happy to find them again! Mast General Store rocks!

  This is a very unique store and a great place to visit and shop. I just wish they would carry bigger men's sizes. The rest of their merchandise is if nothing else something you will be talking about for a long time. We make several visits a year to one of their stores and always find something we need.

  Pretty much a landmark in Boone. Mast General carries camping equipment and gear upstairs and a more stylish collection of clothing downstairs. Prices are a little on the expensive side but they do carry quality goods. They do run some sales and I bought a really nice rain jacket at a very reasonable price. If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth they have almost every kind of candy imaginable in their candy store,
