We absolutely loved the Rivers Edge cabin. It was right on the river and had beautiful views up into the valley. The local mountain scenery driving to this location was also gorgeous with the changing of the leaves.
The cabin was clean and well appointed with everything we needed and much more. A Great bed!!! There’s a huge working fireplace that was a nice touch on the cold evenings.
Bikes were provided, and even in the mountain setting, the road was nearly flat for several miles with very little traffic. A partially fenced yard was perfect for pets and we’ll surely bring our dogs next time.
We would definitely come back to this house.

This is the third visit I've enjoyed at Ashemont, which I think is the perfect mountain getaway. The layout is wonderful with beautiful, comfortable rooms and both an indoor and an outdoor fireplace, plus a hot tub. There's a large fenced lot for the kids and dogs, a gorgeous view and many activities at the property, if you and the kids want to just hang around the cabin. There's hiking, playing pool, puzzles and games, outdoor badminton and jungle gym activities. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor grill is on a large stone patio where you can dine under the stars. My favorite spot is the screened in porch--great for relaxing, reading or doing puzzles. The owners are very friendly and eager to help you enjoy your stay. I can't recommend this vacation spot any more highly.

I started using Blue Ridge Vacation Cabins in late 2016. While I have experience owning rental properties, this is my first foray into managing a vacation rental property while living 700 miles away.
Blue Ridge has been amazing at communicating, maintaining, and working to get my home rented to quality renters. It is a family owned company, the owners are very accessible and responsive, and their staff has been super friendly. They have made suggestions about things I have overlooked(like adding a fire pit, which they then contracted out and did an amazing job on).

I highly recommend them and am glad to be working with them.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay. Mountain views are awesome, make sure you have a good pair of binoculars. Cabin was very comfortable and felt like home. Highly recommend it. We will be back!

From the moment we placed our reservation for "A Walk in the Clouds" I started having trouble on my end to confirm the contract. Rather than having me jump through all kinds of hoops, Blue Ridge Vacation Cabins helped me out with this problem. They save me A LOT of time and aggravation and I really want to thank you again for that. Making these reservations were the easiest I have ever made. And we have stayed in many different places through the years, and this Cabin was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. From all the valuable information you gave to us before we even arrived, to the "spot on" directions to our Cabin, to the directions on use of the Lock Box at the Cabin, all of these thing's made our arrival stress free! Of all the other places we have gone through for Rentals in the past, you are definitely the best. We will have no problem suggesting Blue Ridge Vacation Cabins to all our family & friends. Without a doubt we will be using you in the future with all of our High Country needs. We rented the Secretariat this past weekend and we enjoyed the cabin, the rooms were comfortable for my family. I would just like to point out that the house felt crowded, I believe there is too much furniture and needs a bit of decluttering. All the closets were full so you could not put your clothes in there. I felt like the owners still lived there and left for the weekend with all their stuff still remaining. Also, since there was so much furniture, I get a sense that the cleaning crew was not able to dust properly. Lots of dust. My daughter pulled out the piano table and you could tell that it hadn't been dusted in a while.

If one is going to put a property for rental, all personal items need to be removed. We did like the fact that the kitchen was fully stocked and the hot tub was a great addition.

I have updated my review for the 3rd time. It went from 1 star to 3 to 5. This company truly cares about the satisfaction of its guests. I was surprised at the diligence this team took after a few issues to make sure I understood they cared. They went above and beyond to fix and assure I was happy. Thanks guys.
