If you go here make sure you wear your best dress clothes. Went in there today to get some ideas for wedding decor and was treated like I was a bum off the street because I was wearing a plaid shirt, ball cap, and jeans. Was not shown anything other than, "just look at what's on the showroom floor" Mind you, I could have brought them a hefty amount of business $$. I want to do the scene of pretty woman and go in there wearing my most dashing expensive clothes and hair done up just to see if I were to be treated any differently. This review might have an update if I ever waste time to prove a point to rude people. I would waste my money on half beaten up stuff anyways.

I am usually one to write great reviews or not at all. I will say that the bulk of our order made by the venue was through Celebrate and it was beautiful and all seemed great (I think it was just napkins and tablecloths but it may have been more. I'm not sure because it was included in the venue cost). We went there the week prior to the wedding- so it was last minute- to pick up a cupcake stand. We had incorrectly assumed that our baker would have them to provide and they didn't, so we were in a rush. They showed us the ones on display that would work for our needs but they were all banged up and chipped from use. We approached them and asked if we would have to use the floor models or if they had extras on reserve, but they did not that short notice. It was disappointing but we didn't have another option. We asked, after placing our order, if it would be okay for us to touch it up with some paint before the wedding, and they said they would do that (it would have saved us a half hour of discussing what to do if they had told us that up front because we were really concerned about they wear on them). You could tell it had been touched up previously. They gave us a discounted cost of $30 for it (instead of the usual $35) because of the condition of the stand, which was great. Overall we left mostly satisfied. Come the day of the wedding, it was delivered in the exact same condition as it was on the floor at the store. We had no paint because we expected it to have been done already. Frankly, I loved my wedding day and I didn't mind because it was such a minor thing in the grand scheme of the day, but I really disliked the way they handled us originally and the fact that they didn't follow through with what they said they would do. It should have been a quick and easy fix.

This place has an impressive collection of costumes and is well worth the stop. They also carry some good quality makeup products including Ben Nye eyeshadows. However, the makeup counter sales staff could use a little sensitivity training. I have an untreatable skin condition that requires me to use a heavy foundation on my face. Every time I have purchased my foundation at this store I am told that all the area drag queens use this product. While I am confident in my appearance, I get the idea that the question is really "Are you a guy?" No offense to all the drag queens out there, but I find the comment insensitive.
