A great neighborhood bakery, albeit a little crowded most of the time. It offers both, pickup and table service. They have a excellent selection of cakes, pies, pastries and coffee, however their Napolean cake is out of this world! I strongly recommend it!

Best Napoleon that I have ever had. I like the plain Napoleon better. It can be pretty crowded if you want a table there, but for to-go pastry, this is one of the best places! The red velvet cake is also pretty good.

Went here 2 days in a row! Awesome desserts; the macarons are my favorite. They have a great assortment of baked goods and I love the French cafe vibes. The people that work there are all so sweet and very helpful. Definitely recommend taking a friend or going by yourself after work. They're open late

It's a very nice bakery with a wide selection. Most times they have what your looking for already made fresh but you can always call ahead to be sure, the staff are very polite and helpful. My favorite is their red velvet cake. It's a little pricey but I think the quality makes it worth it.

This place is ALWAYS packed Maybe it's because of their yummy and delicious desserts!

My favorite is the Oreo Cheesecake, it's that cookies n'cream kind of cheesecake but the balance is simply perfect. Along with a glass of milk and you're good to go! I always get my desserts here to-go because getting a table is always a hit or miss. During odd hours getting a table is not too bad but there are moments where lines are out the door to get a dine-in experience.

Definitely recommend this spot, always had the Oreo Cheesecake so maybe I'll be back to try something else for once :) Oh wait, I had the Berry Napoleon and that was pretty darn good as well!

This is a great hangout spot if you do not mind a loud crowd or long waiting time to be seated (although they send a courtesy text when your table is ready). I would recommend their hot drinks, especially dark hot chocolate if you're into real cocoa and not syrup or powder based drinks. I would also recommend their fruit pies, especially apple pie. They use fresh fruits and the pies are never too sweet or doughy. I do not recommend anything else. Their cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, etcétera, are overwhelmingly sweet.

The desserts are fantastic, but the service needs help. When it's a table of 4 and everyone orders coffee and a pastry and only 3 get their orders and you tell the waitress she forgot and she never brings the items. But does remember the check with the items still on the check that's the type of service that cost you a star.

We have been patrons since they were located in the smaller space, next door. We have NEVER been disappointed. The variety, quality, and service have always been exemplary, a fact proven by the massive crowds who frequent the place regularly. This is a true gold mine, deservedly so. The Forest Hills parking situation is awful, but that goes with the territory. We always recommend Martha's as a take out or eat in dessert haven!

Went to Martha's Bakery for the first time today. The wait time wasn't too bad if you are a patient person. However there are many people ordering at once and the lady taking my order couldn't hear me too well. I ordered cupcakes and macaroons. The macaroons were inedible. Although they were different flavors, they all had this overwhelming taste of cleaning product of some sort. I am not sure what it was, but it was money down the drain. The cupcakes were okay. The frosting was a bit stale and had that same product taste to it. Spent money, and ended up throwing most of it away unfortunately.

Delicious strawberry shortcake! Cake by the slice, cupcakes, pies and baked goods in tons of flavors so you'll definitely find one to try. The iced chai tea latte was tasty too. It's open pretty late. Different pricing for carryout & dining in. It was pretty busy right up to closing; even so we got a table for two easily on a Friday night.

Whenever I am in the Forest Hills area, Martha's is always a destination.

The variety of cakes, pies, cupcakes, cookies, muffins, etc. is amazing! And every selection I've made over the years has been an absolute winner! And there's gelato too!!!

Martha's also has just about every type of hot beverage you can imagine to compliment the delicious desserts, and they are of equally quality.

There is seating (though not a lot) and the servers are both courteous and helpful in assisting you toward making your culinary selections.

The only downside is that the parking in this area is a nightmare. But other than that, Martha's is one of my very favorite dessert locales in all of New York City! It truly does not get any better than this!

I highly recommend this establishment!

Can't go wrong here. Martha's bakery has unbelievable desserts although pricey. Great date spot or just wanna hang out. I can't go here too often though just way too indulgent. Also mousse over cheesecake in my opinion.

Excellent pastry selection. Fastest service ever but be warned it's popular so be ready to wait during high tide about 20 minutes. Desserts are grand and the price is perfect.

I love this place!! The staff there really make u feel welcomed! I live in long island but choose to go to this particular bakery not just bc of the delicious yummy desserts they serve but more importantly the staff who are nice and welcoming. Today, I went there again to buy a cake and had requested for a long message on the cake. Instead of telling me theres not enough space on the cake, the staff (her name is Geraldine) went above and beyond to create space for those extra words which meant a lot to me. My cat of 17 years had recently passed away and this cake was meant for the staff at the animal hospital who treated her with such dignity and compassion to the very end. And Geraldine helped accomplish my goal.Had gone there on a few other occasions with another friend and the services were always impeccable. Desserts no doubt are fantastic! Thank you!!

A friend of mine bought a red velvet cake from here . It was so delicious. Most cakes i find are mostly FROSTING and not enough actual CAKE! . This red velvet cake was perfect, the frosting was not excessive or over powering . the cake was so moist . Definitely worth trying again.

Location is pretty good although it can be hard to get parking here at times.

Over all out look - cute and cozy and a definite fix for your sweet tooth
