Love this place. Best clam chowder ever, and I'm always game for their Prime Rib - they do an amazing job. This place is always a favorite. Go as many times as I can. Great service, amazing food and they can mix a drink.

This is the best place for fresh fish in Salt Lake City. The shrimp cocktail is one of my favorite and the shrimp are large. This is more expensive place and is a great place for a special occasion. The food is always fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

It’s getting two stars because the server; Steve provided very good service - I would say 5 star level.

The food, on the other hand warranted zero stars. Everything is overpriced relative to this market. The sourdough bread, while having a pleasant tank was way too dry. The calamari appetizer was sparse for the price and undercooked. I had crab cakes and they had very little crab and were dry. Their fries are below average. My dinning companions’ portions were measly and poorly prepared and plated. We won’t be going back.

It's okay. The service was okay. The food was okay. For the price, was expecting a lot more. But it wasn't bad Just okay.

Very disappointed in my experience. I went around 4:45 and sat at a booth in the bar area. There were about 5-6 servers on the other side of the bar chatting with each other. After about 5 minutes a female server went to the table next to me to drop off some food. She looked up at me, rolled her eyes a little and turned and walked away without saying anything.
I got up and started walking back to the hostess stand. As I was telling the hostess about what was happening the server came around the corner with bread and water for my table.
No way was I going to spend time and money in an establishment that treats guest that way.
I ended up at the Mexican place in the parking lot, the food was mediocre, but all the servers and hostess were super sweet

Great food and friendly staff. Brunch is very reasonably prived. $$$ dinner is reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Marketstreet use to have the absolute best smoked salmon from their fish market. Everything seems to been going downhill through the past couple years. Smaller portions, higher prices and the last straw for us was eliminating their smoked salmon. They use to be one of the top five in SLC, but wouldn't recommend them for much else other than maybe breakfast anymore. Miss the old Marketstreet 😕

Market Street has consistently gone downhill in the past few years, different locations notwithstanding. Each time I try it because another person has made a lunch or dinner reservation there, I regret it. The service is terrible. It's like the servers forget they're working and waiting tables. The food takes forever to get, then it's cold/tiny portions/nasty. $15 for 2 fish tacos with two itty bitty pieces of fried fish in each taco? There are so many other, even marginally better place to dine. MS is a waste of time and money.

If you're going to charge $40-$70 for a plate I believe the ambiance needs to match. When you think of paying for a $40 steak you think of low lights and attentive service. Ten minutes for a water? The cafeteria like eatery may be comforting if you love Cracker Barrel but the prices don't match the taste.

Being a Market Street lover for over 25 years when my husband asked where we wanted to celebrate Mother's Day absolutely at Market Street Grill. We usually go to the one in Cottonwood Heights but went to the one in South Jordan this time. I can honestly say in 25 years it was the absolute worst meal I have ever eaten at a Market Street restaurant.
Out of six people the only two they enjoyed their meal with my two small grandsons.
We took our meals home in a box hoping that we could maybe season them up and eat them later. Nothing helped all the food was underseasoned an underwhelming. But most of all it was so disappointing. For six people it was not a cheap dinner.
The moral of my story don't ever eat at the market Street in South Jordan.

First time at market Street grill today. The waiter came up quickly, but presented in a manner that was unwelcoming. We ordered drinks and calamari. He disappeared for 15 minutes, returns with the calamari, and tried to leave. My husband caught him and told him we we're ready to order. He said he would be back to take our order. 10 minutes later he came to get our order. At this point we told him to just bring the check. Spoke with the manager upon leaving. He did offer to seat us and personally serve us. We declined, it's hard to want to stick around after horrible service. The calamari wasn't as good as other places. I won't go back.

I have always liked Market Street and think their fresh fish is great. Something about the fish out West always seems to taste better for some reason.

I came into this particular location for lunch recently and ordered the fresh Alaskan salmon and the mixed vegetables. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were great.

My dad ordered the soup and he said it was perfectly creamy and had great flavor.

Service was very friendly and I thought our waitress was really knowledgable about the menu, and offered a lot of suggestions on entrees since I wasn't entirely sure what to order!

I think the original location is a bit nicer inside, but this is still a great place to get seafood in the area.

Just went for Easter Brunch. The food was really good. I had the snow crab omelette which was just the right size for a $14.00 meal. The teens had fish and chips and other omelettes. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The cinnamon rolls that they served with the meal looked fresh but were stale. I didn't finish mine. We had their chocolate cake, key lime pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert. All were very good. Service was good. We did have an incident where the waitress spilled water on our food, she did not offer to fix it but apologized. Our drinks were always full and our meals came quickly. Their oysters were amazing.
