Friendly, No pressure, and very informal. Quoted $ was the $ I got.
Doug was very helpful and friendly to deal with.
My experience was not to bad the people are nice, but the place building is super old and outdated. Makes u think the owner doesn't care. Other then that it's a normal dealer. Their inventory is in the back and from what I saw the vehicles are kept in bad shape because of where they are stored.
I recommend steering clear of this dealership.
I was interested in a new vehicle and my contact at MDR Toyota was Natalie Terry. We agreed on a price over the phone, but when I showed up in-person, one of the managers Joe refused to honor the agreed-upon price. Classic bait-and-switch.
I'm not sure whether Natalie or Joe misled me, but I'm never going back either way. Looking at the reviews below, I'm not the only person who's had a bad experience with Natalie Terry. I took my business to Carson Toyota and had an ideal experience.
Had a great experience at Toyota of Marina Del Rey. They did a great job making sure the car buying process went smoothly and that I found a good fit!
My experience with this dealership has been horrible. Nathalie Terry, their internet manager, LIED about having a vehicle in stock to get me to come to the dealership in person. After bringing me in, two salesmen assured me they could get the car through a dealer trade. Trusting their assurance, we ran my credit for the vehicle I wanted. It turns out that the dealer couldn't acquire the trade after all.
Since this was their fault on running my credit with faulty information knowing they didn't have the car I wanted, I asked them to remove my credit score. Here comes the kicker:
According to them, I agreed to a lime green car and changed my mind after the credit check. They fabricated documentation to support this as well. Horrible. I'm still trying to get that credit inquiry off my record.
Expensive prices (good ol dealerships) but great service
The internet department was very helpful. Don and Alex got me the car I needed and my overall experience was good. Go see Don in the internet department for your future car buying needs.
I submitted an inquiry online for a car and I got a FALSE OFFER from Natalie Terry. I called twice to make sure the car was in the lot and I she confirmed that it was. 30 minutes later I show up, and the car was "sold." She quoted on a car that was never in the lot, which is just a waist of time.
The worst place for car repair. I ask the service manager if he can help me take out the front light bulb for me because it got stuck His name is Jon Valentin. He said I need to take the car for service for 5 second take out by technician. This place all they care is money not take care customer. I spend more than 50 dollar in this place and I can better service The service manager doesn't give a shit unless you pay for the service I will never go to this place again and get better service somewhere else.
Pretty much laid back they have donuts and coffee your Agent constantly interacting with on the service you are receiving very pleasant atmosphere
David was an excellent service manager and kept me informed of all work. The work was well done and as quoted. Will return for more service needs.
I called in the morning and actually was able to come in and drop my car off for a safety recall. Alex was Awesome! He helped me and explained what was going to be done and promised my car would be done before 5pm. An honest car guy?! YES! GREAT job!!!
I had a scheduled appointment for 1pm. When I arrived to the service department I wasn't acknowledged for at least 30 minutes. This was my first time at this Toyota. I thought because it was close to my work that it would be a perfect place to go. Around 1:30 I spoke to the worker and then he informed me that my oil change would be done in 3 hours. To me this was unacceptable. What is the point of scheduling an appointment and still have to wait such a long time for an oil change. Even though I was upset I decided to give hem another chance.I decided to reschedule and save it for another time. Possibly, it was just the day and that was the reason why it was terrible customer service. The second time I went, I had an appointment for the morning before work. I already knew it was going to take a long time. When I arrived it was the same thing. I waited 15-20 minutes. Then I went inside and asked to see the worker. I would have given this review a 1 star, but I am starting to see that every Toyota has a long wait, even with a prior appointment. I will never go back to this Toyota again.
Service drive: Outstanding customer service. Was promptly greeted by Robert, true professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. Told me exactly what I needed to get done on my car and even prioritized the recommended services that my car needed. He was able to get my car done within the time that was promised and even helped me with directions I needed around town. Above and beyond the call of duty. Will only go to him from now on. Loyal to Marina Del Rey because of him from now on.
