This is a car repair shop in the heart of Westwood. Toyotas are best taken care for here, as well if you were in an accident they give you competitive prices here. Great place and staff.
Joshua Maloney and the team did a fantastic job with my insurance claim. Great communication. Thank you for going the extra mile to explain the tire pressure sensors and help with my license plates. They make it easy and as painless as possible. It's appreciated!
Worst customer service. Front desk lacks skills in transferring calls & giving messages & just plain being nice.
The rep who handles Allstate claims never ordered the part, never called me back, and this took 3 weeks and 3 calls later.
Never ended up bringing my car back because the supervisor was in a meeting, then with a client, I felt like I was begging them to take my money & my car to fix. Not acceptable!
I called Allstate rep to inform them of the Caliber Collision's ultra lack of professionalism & she ended up referring me to another locale.
Take your car elsewhere if given the chance & make this place the last one to choose from!
I shouldn't have to wait 3 weeks for no service @ all.
Good Customer Service and good work whenever used over the years. AAA recommended, and has an Enterprise Car Rental on premises.
Do NOT trust them. They just tried to lie & ship my car off without my release (which is illegal). Personal items still in car (custom wheels, etc.)
For 2 weeks I called every 2 days asking if a lift was available (and that I'd pay for any labor). Always some excuse: mechanic isn't in, on a test drive, or all lifts full (they could have just said "no, you can't use our lifts or help"). This morning (Monday, July 3, 2017) the shop had finally set an appointed time for me to come by (after my calling every 2 days for 2 weeks), but on my way I called & same excuse of no available lift. They said they'd call me later in the morning immediately when a lift was available. I drove by shop a few minutes later & saw my car being loaded on to a tow truck! Stopped them, brought car down (of course they left it in a tight parking space despite plenty of empty spaces) & I had to switch wheels for originals by hand using tiny trunk flat-tire jacks myself in the hot sun! They lied saying I released car a week ago! Seriously shady business in general, but 2 ethical/legal points:
1) After I finished switching out all the custom wheels for originals, I went into office to formally release my car finally. They tried to lie to cover their butts by saying my file said I'd released the car a week before (June 27th), even though I'd been calling and talking to them for many days after!
2) I had setup a time this morning (Mon, July 3) with same shop person to finally switch wheels (previously, they'd said it was the end of the month so too busy, etc.), but when I called while driving to shop (just to see if they'd have another excuse why they couldn't again), same shop person tried to stall me this morning by saying nothing available but they'd call me when a lift became available. At the same time a tow truck was already on its way to take my car even though I hadn't released it!
I'm guessing they didn't think I'd be willing to slave away in the sun for almost 4 hours (in my dress clothes no less, because they said tow truck would take my car if I left to change clothes) and swap all the wheels by hand using the tiny flat-tire jack in the trunk. I'm sure I'm not the first to suffer this mistreatment, so please report such business practices to the Better Business Bureau and the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (California Dept. of Consumer Affairs).
Great service..honest, reliable.
One service advisor, Sedrik Tordsyan, convinced me to
trust and believe in this Caliber business. When a front office
person said he could not help, Sedrik, overheard the conversation
and he found a Yes for my son and I. We simply needed a repair
person to take one minute and check out a trunk locking device.
He volunteered to help. He was a YES person, and offered
true customer service. I would come here because of this
one person.
Worst place to get your car fixed. Just look for somewhere else more reliable and cheaper .
What George does is despicable. He quotes out a very high price for the parts needed to fix the vehicle. Then he goes around looking for the cheapest parts and purchases them. After he's done gouging the customer he then pockets as much money as possible. No one knows about it except a few "in the know" like me. I've had it with his sinful greedy ways. It could be thousands of dollars he's taking for himself. All on the customers' dime. He's very greedy and should be fired. Poor customers are being ripped of on his shoddy quality and exorbitant prices.
