Love this theater!! Yes I know its older, kind of a dump but its a value cinema where you can see cheap movies that transfer from the regular Marcus down the street on Rawson Ave. You can't beat beat $1.50 movies on Tuesdays. If there is a movie you want to see but not pay $20 for a movie, wait until it comes there and see it for cheaper. Seats are fine, popcorn is good and its a clean place. What else you do you people want? Love this place!

Good for a cheap movie, but that is about it. Popcorn is not as good as the expensive theaters. The facility is going in the tanks quickly -- if the seats squeak louder than the movie, it's a problem.

Tickets are cheap, but the seats are in good shape. You'll need a good credit score, though, to get financing for the snack bar. Almost $20 for 2 sodas and popcorn

The floors are usually sticky but when you get a bargain like $2.00 per ticket and $1.00 tuesdays ya can't be picky ;) southgate is loaded with loud rude obnoxious teens laughing, talking during the whole movie and Ive got beer spilled on me at southgate s. 27 st. Every experience at the budget is pleasant & people are very polite & quick to resolve any issue for anyone. Value cinema always ends my night w/ my wallet full and a great & can't forget the most friendly staff at VALUE CINEMA DON'T CLOSE DOWN LIKE HWY 100 DID RECENTLY WE NEED YOU & Your friendly staff all other milwaukee area movie theatres employees look like they just turned 16 they all look as if they're want to quit, fall asleep and seen some walk out on the job because they REFUSE TO CLEAN THE THEY ALWAYS SAY "I WAS HIRED AS A CASHIER" BATHROOMS NO WAY FIRED SPOILED MISS they're the same kids sneaking in other younger annoying loud kids drinking for the 1st time & getting in altercations with a manager its ridiculous that i got cheap beer spilled on my pants and shoes those were grown people.and myself and three other couples wanted a refund. We got a coupon for popcorn and soda. Needless to say PISSED and value cinema I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CHILL POLITE STAFF AND YOUR MOVIE THEATRE GETS 5stars!!!!!!!!

the place is pretty good for the price plus they have a pretty cool pinball table. but i've noticed that if you come for a movie showing that's after 9pm the teenagers who "run" the place catch an attitude like no other

Great prices, especially on half price ticket tuesdays. BEST cotton candy. A little pricey in snacks tho, but what do you expect from a movie theatre.
