Awful, I fully intend to call Madison on Monday although I doubt it will do any good. I typically go to the Pewaukee location where I regularly receive stellar service with respect. They are closed on Saturdays so I made the long trip from South Waukesha to license a large construction truck that must be on the job at 7 am Monday. Due to the extended travel tI'm and an unexpected check engine light I arrived inside the dmv at 11:58 am according to my cell phone. I was told in a rude tone by Christy that according to her clock it was after 12 and they were closed and for security reasons she could not allow me in. I ask to speak to a manager and told her it was not after 12 and how I had to be caregular with my car and how far I had come but she simply refused. While renewing online is a possibility with a large truck that makes me nervous. Renewing before it was absolutely necessary was a financial strain and now we will be delayed. I should have left my home at 7 am. To me 12 means 12. I could not have anticipated car trouble. She could have at least been courteous. Pewaukee would have never done that. Our lost revenue should come out of her pay check. Now I will go to Pewaukee on Monday morning and delay our operation. Had I arrived inside the building on or after 12 you would not be reading this. Another lady came in and said the same thing. Why not set the clock ahead an hour and not tell anyone.

I love this DMV. I always go here and never have an issue. I never have to wait long at all. I feel the customer service here is extremely pleasureable.

Went there just to renew plates, and tried using automated machine ( that didn't work ) so had to wait in line again just to get a number. Then when I get to counter, they charge me 3.00 now!!!!! So I tell them it was 1.50 at machine she says it's a counter fee. So I tell her the machine was broke, and she tells me I shoulda told someone ( which I did ) and nobody could or would help. So I said just give me sticker cuz that's s good racket they got going on there. They need to be privately owned cuz the states obviously failing at making them better. Rude lady too btw avoid at all costs👎🏻

Customer service here is apparently dependent on physical appearance. Whether it be race, gender, etc. The woman at the front desk was friendly and smiling to the gentlemen in front of me. As soon as it was my turn, she had no expression on her face and even crossed her arms in front of her. I told her what I was there for, no response. I had to pry information out of her cause she sure as hell wasn't offering any. The system went down and apparently no applications could be processed. She didn't offer me any options or tell me if I could still take a picture since everyone in the dmv was still waiting and still taking pictures even with the system down. She said nothing to me as I walked away but she made sure to call to her coworker to make sure to "help my friend" with something ( referring to the previous customer). I guess it's a-ok to pick and choose who you give good customer service to at the dmv.

Never will go back to this DMV, the workers are snotty and have really bad attitudes. They just want the money and have you out. If there's a problem they don't try and resolve it they want you out. Worst experience ever.

I arrived at 10am on a Saturday, was in and out in 25 minutes. These guys are packed, but are they ever expedient! Fast and courteous service, no complaints.
