very lively - like a little village place where all the locals hang out. nice food - breakfast and lunch. unbelievable cookies - peanut butter, white chocolate, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip - HUGE (the size of your face) and very yummy.
Chicken curry wrap, veggie wrap and coffee were excellent. Turkey panini and chicken/tuna salad were ok.
Amazing atmosphere with love music and huge steaks grilled outside on the weekends!
We had a wonderful dinner at Marche Burette, Best salmon we've ever had. Charlotte took wonderful care of us!
The food was creative and delicious. And the ice cream was creamy & homemade. The desserts were amazing and the gifts were very unusual. It was definitely a fun experience.
One of the ONLY places on the island to get a roast beef sandwich NOT made with deli or mystery meat. Wow seems like this concept is going away like the dodo. Cole slaw is really good too! Service is great and friendly too~
Such a cute deli and enough help to get your food fast. All of the waitresses are nice and my water cup never went empty. Food was yummy and I want to get back to enjoy a pastry and coffee.
Great food, staff and store. Wonderful bicycle trip from Little Talbot Island.
Soup looks and tastes like pond water, they got both our drink orders and meal orders wrong, not sure how much worse they could have been. Very little space for seating and not many tables which prevents many people from eating here; in its own way a blessing. Don't think about doing work here, no wifi and little to no service.
Nice little shop where you can stock up on some basics to keep in your room in the resortsoda, water, beer, wine, cheese, bread, deli meats, candy, etc. Fun foody gifts.
We come to the Omni resort a few times a year and always enjoy stopping in at Marche Burette. The restaurant and store are charming and the food is always fresh and delicious. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. The hours vary depending on the time of year, so it's best to doublecheck that they're open before you show up. During the busier season they're open for dinner a few nights during the week and I think the steak night is the best steak I've had anywhere.
Prices are terribly high, but I guess that is expected for a vacation destination. We attended "Steak night" and were very excited. We waited over an hour for a table with 3 hungry children while people hung out on the patio and drank. There aren't many tables, so this prevented us from having a table. The steak was good, but they charge a $10 fee to split (even if you don't want an extra potato and salad).
