Dates of stay 11/23-26/2017
I am writing this negative review because of Magical Memories’s management of the property located at Royal Bay in Kissimmee, FL.
When our complaints were first made, we were promised a telephone call from a manager that never followed up. It was not until we threatened a negative review, that we received a call back and was offered only a 15% discount off of a future visit.
Our first disappointment was not being told that we were being placed on a second level without any consideration that my husband’s leg was immobilized at the time.
Then, the overall appearance of the unit was that it had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was visible dust buildup at every air vent in the unit; this was very concerning because we have asthmatic children.
The living room’s fabric couch appeared dirty and the master bedroom’s bed mattress was very worn and left us with back pain.
The constant noise from the nearby highway could likely be dampened if a heavy drape was hung in the master bedroom.
Finally, the air conditioning stopped working and after being told to allow an hour for the technician’s arrival, it took 2 hours instead.
Understandably, the technician had to defrost the AC unit, but we had to wait in sweltering heat with 3 children. The amount of dirt that flowed out this very old unit would suggest that it had not been maintained.
The technician implied that it was our fault because the AC’s temperature had been turned down too low---but we knew better than to do that.
My son in-law walked out back to take a look at the air conditioning unit and found it to be very old with repair parts strewn around it into the grass.
Proposed resolution: $150.00 refund

I always use them to rent my condos when time to vacation in the Kissimmee area. They are very reasonable and check-in/check-out is a breeze about 5 minutes or so once you're at the counter. Very friendly/helpful staff as well, never had an issue.

The Magical Memories Villas were more than what I expected. It was in great conditions, had two bedrooms, one king and the other has two beds, one full and one queen. Also had full kitchen, dinning room and family room with two sofa bed and a laundry room. All this for only $70 a night. My experience was one of the best I ever had thanks to their cheap prices, safe and clean environment and above all GREAT SERVICE!!! Thank You so much and will be seeing you in the future.

Wonderful place. My family and I had a great time and the villa exceeded expectations. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the property was very clean, the neighborhood very calm and quiet. Definitely would recommend and use again!

Be careful with this company if you stay with them be sure to take pictures of the property upon move in and call immediately after discovering any broken items in the home. They try everything they can to get extra money at checkout. Be sure to check the pool for the correct amount of chemicals

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Terra Verde Resort. The amenities were excellent and clean. The townhouse had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The private pool was an added bonus. We will truly book through Magical Memories again. The staff from beginning to end were professional and polite as well as helpful. Thanks Magical Memories for the opportunity to provide a safe, clean and affordable vacation rental for our family.

I stay 5 days in a Villa at Runaway beach resort with my wife and my 3 kids. Great location and very beautiful villa with a lot of space. Very happy with this rental villa. Beautiful pool and grocery store very close to the resort. All you need for a great vacation time and rest.

I rented the laguna bay condo with my family for a week. It was an amazing 3 bedroom. Everything we needed was in the apartment which was very convenient. We had a 1 year old and they place was a perfect fit! There even were 2 cribs they place was child friendly which we really appreciated and made our stay so much better. Overall our visit was unforgettable thank you magical Memories we will definitely book again.

We had a great experience with Magical Memories, we didn't know where we would be staying and were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. It was easy to get to, there was lots of parking, the neighborhood was quiet. We found we had a lovely little deck overlooking a lake and another neighborhood. It was a nice clean, easy to access place and I'd not hesitate to book it again.

The house we rented was originally supposed to be a 3 bedroom and they gave us a 4 bedroom at no extra cost. The master bedroom was amazing and the bathroom was to die for. The house was really clean and the pool was beautiful and perfect for the 4 of us. It came stocked with all the cooking stuff we needed and when we opened up the garage we weren't expecting the pool table, air hockey and foozeball table which made my husband even more happier. I would recommend staying with them but for more than a week like we did because there is so much stuff to see and do. Our next vacation down there we will definitely be booking through Magical Memories again. You can only give 5 stars but i would definitely give them 10 stars.

The memories were magical up until I was accused of burning their carpet. Please read! If you decide to stay at their property, be sure to take a photo of all paperwork that you sign, do a walk through and take photos of everything in the unit. Even though I DECLINED the use of their iron and signed a waiver, I was still charged for damages that were there when I arrived! I have the time stamp, date and location to prove it! My magical memories became a nightmare!

My mother in law Heather Allen booked this for all of us for a family vacation. The Villa we stayed at was so nice, very spacious and comfortable. It was very close to anything we needed or wanted to do. Vey close proximity to all the theme parks. I would recommend using magical memories to all my friends and family and if we ever go back to FL would totally use them again!!!!

We stayed at the Island Club Villas. Very clean and nice little community. Really close to Animal Kingdom. Quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the playground. Wish check in was a little earlier just because we were in some traffic driving from the office area to the actual place we stayed. A lot of nearby stores. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice home-like place.
