This is more like a highschool than a college. The instructors don't seem to take things seriously and they're not very good at actually teaching you what you need to know. It started with the head of my program telling me that they can guide me down the specific path I want to take. After enrolling, I was flat out told that I was "in the wrong school" and that they "never promised me anything about my career". What a slap in the face. I don't recommend enrolling here. Shoot for something higher. All they did was teach things I already knew and put me in programs I didn't need. There's a reason their tuition seems a bit lower than most other schools. That's how they lure you in.

Since the Audio Recording course is the most popular, here's a review from a REC student. First of all if you're looking to come here to become the next Dr. Dre or Metro Boomin or Lil Wayne just save your money and invest in yourself because 85% of what you learn has nothing to do with Hip Hop music. The program in all is more forward to rock music which I guess makes sense; sense Rock is the most popular genre that requires live instruments, Even so, the teachers are ok alot of the side classes like video production and media business seem useful as skills but alot of what you learn in class could just be learned online. It kinda pisses me off that I drive 45 mins to school everyday to watch dumb YouTube videos just to earn participation points. Also at the start of every term, there seemed to be confusion on what was going on. One time the teacher didn't even show up because he didn't seem to know he was suppose to be teaching that day lol. Another time our schedule told us to all be in one room but turns out the class was in a whole another building. plus I remember the start of the 3rd term the class was too big to fit in the studio and they refused to move people that were willing to go to a smaller class at a different time haha. its good to check it out though, but be prepared to learn of useful and useless things.

This school is a complete joke. They're incredibly shady and simply DO NOT CARE. The Instructors I've had the pleasure of meeting and learning under were very cool and good at their jobs, but the administration is where all the problems lie. Save your money and attend a tech/public school.

Watch out for this for profit school. I had instructors at this media arts college who didn't know how to use the software they were supposed to instruct us on. We were told to figure it out on our own by watching YouTube videos. The curriculum in the program didn't even seem planned before they launched the program. It seemed to change for the upcoming class every semester. Even had one instructor admit during a class program they didn't know how to teach the class. The drop out rate was higher then the job placement rate for my class. One thing that sticks with me after completing this school is what a main instructor of my program would jokingly quip "This school will take your money." That seems to be the only thing these for profit schools care about.

Biggest waste of my time and money. I was under the impression they would help me find an internship and they did not. Also, I understood that they would help me find job placement after graduation and they did not. So, here I am..in debt.no job..no leads..
