  Menu has good choices. Have policy of no upcharge for extras. Food prepared quite well. Service good, but can be slow if crowded (like most other places). Bar customers friendly, staff is too.

  Great prices on drinks and food, friendly staff, and chill, comfortable atmosphere. I went here to talk with my friend and it wasn't too loud or crowded. Free popcorn too - yummy! :)

  I've been here a few times and each visit was a great experience. I've only tried the Cobb burger and sweet potato fries but my friends have enjoyed other items on the menu. I love trying new 🍺 and this is the place to explore. They have an outdoor fire pit as well!

  Generally food is excellent. This time ordered guiness shepards pie. Not impressed. No flavor. Would not recommend.
  And this is pretty but I am a coffee drinker. They gave me 2 creamers asked for more. Got two more. Had to do the same thing with my refill. I could understand if the place was packed. There were 10 people in the entire restaurant.

  Had a disappointing meal at McGregor's tonight. We went thinking it would be nice to sit outside by the bay. The man who seated us said that it was damp out there and that if we went out and were cold we wouldn't be able to get seating inside. It seemed like a beautiful night to be out, but since no one else was outside we didn't want to inconvenience the staff and decided to eat inside. It felt like we were being discouraged from sitting outside. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and my husband ordered the Shepard's pie. My sandwich was burned on one side. Of course the burned side was towards the plate (the old mom trick). Before we left two couples came in and were seated outside by a warm fire. I left mad. I have had nice dining experiences there in the past.

  Worst dining experience I've ever had. Seated right away, waitress did best she could but kitchen is slower than slow and owner is clueless.Been to other MacGregor's and never had a bad experience. My wife had the shepard's pie and she couldn't eat it, looked like hormel hamburg poured over veggies. I had a meatball sub and meatballs were burnt on the bottom. Place was packed, I have to wonder why.

  Great beer selection. Fried pickles are awesome! Nice dining room. Bit of a passion to get in and out of the parking lot due to the road (Empire Blvd).

  Love this place! Food is always good and cant beat sitting outside on a nice day. The scotch eggs were not prepared correctly and were hard boiled, but the burgers are delicious!

  Normally decent, but last time was not good. Two medium burgers were well done, fries were cool, waitress did nothing to help when asked. The socks are always decent.. This experience wasn't normally, but did sour the experience.

  Great bar staff is usually friendly huge selection of beer especially ipa's that are ice cold personally that's how i like them. Good bar food i recommend Cajun gold wings grilled with a side of sweet potato fries😊

  Waitress seemed very overwhelmed and was not very friendly with our big group even though we made reservations ahead of time and we're an easy crowd. Kitchen took three hours to get everyone's food out, but it was good food once we finally got it. Heard they always struggle to get food out in decent time for big groups.
