One of my new favorite spots in Charlotte. Very expansive beer menu, and reasonably priced BBQ that tastes out of this world! My only gripe is that there's not one closer or id be a regular.

Great BBQ spot. Everything was delicious! The wings were some of the best ever. Ribs were tender but held together on the bone. Pulled pork was perfectly tender and the choice of sauces is perfect. Mac and cheese is perfectly balanced between the cheese level and softness of the noodles. And you can't forget about the hush puppies! They're perfectly fried and have the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. Serving them with sweet cream butter is an awesome touch. Definitely one of the best BBQ spots in Charlotte.

I have never been so insulted in my life. I am 62 years old, handicapped, and could not buy a mixed drink, because they had to see my ID and it was in the car. Really, I assure you I look old enough to drink. Used to be my favorite place. Guess I need to find somewhere else to spend my money. Age and disability discrimination at it's best.

The food was EXCELLENT! the matzo balls had a hint of sweet that made them delicious, the Phili Beef Wrap was very tasty, the baked potato salad was perfect, coleslaw had just the right amount of vinegar-not too little and not over powering, the barbecue sampler was great. For a sports bar atmosphere it was a very nice place to socialize with a covered deck and outside bar to the inside bar and tables. The restroom was near and clean as well as the tables and floors. The wait staff was attentive as well as courteous. Very nice casual place to have dinner.

Nice place, pork is great. Brisket not so much. I'm a Texan. I spent time in KC. It's not BAD. It's just not what I would consider authentic. I've never hear of sliced brisket covered in sauteed onions. But enough about that. Everything else was great. I'm bringing people there tomorrow for lunch as well. Just a fair warning to the brisket snobs.

Great service, fantastic food! You can dine inside or outside. The outside veranda has an open area for live music on Sat night. We went for a Fri night out and loved it! Now we know why it was voted the best BBQ in Charlotte. We will return soon!

The guys I work with and I went here for a late lunch (1pm). There were 11 of us and we were seated immidiately. Typically this place is packed. Going an hour after lunch rush was a great idea. Mac's has been a great place to eat and drink ever since the first location opened by my house off of South blvd. Huge beer selection and awesome food

Have eaten here twice and still enjoy it. Took folks from out of town the second time to enjoy some Southern BBQ. Mac's does not disappoint. Best selection is the "lit bit of something" unless your are hungry, then the "A whole bunch of something" plate. Recommend the ribs, Brisket, coleslaw, pulled pork combo with either chicken or the sausage depending on what you are in the mood for. Great service as well

The barbeque was good, and the sides were really good. The stew is a little different slant than normal. It was a little more like a vegetable soup and kind of spicy, but still very good. Lots of beers to choose from. The service was good and the atmosphere was really good. I will go back.

I honestly don't know how this BBQ restaurant earned a Zagat rating or such a large following. Every time I've been with coworkers or on social outings, the food has been just okay. Nothing to write home about or even form a lasting memory. Avoid the buzz and seek better local options.

Very good BBQ, great selection of beers, great atmosphere! Live music on weekend nights. If you want lunch here come early! It gets packed and the parking lot is a pain to park in.

The wings came out room temp, the onion rings are huge but lots of breading and they are not crispy.

Baked beans won! Baked beans were great.

If you want hot wings go somewhere else. I had chipotle, which I was told was second from the hottest, and the heat was close to nothing, and I don't like heat on my wings, but someone let me try theirs since it was so mild.

Brownie n ice cream was yummy.

Service was friendly and good at keeping up w drinks.
