Omg where to begin we are from out of town and wanted to try something local. We found this place from a google search the food is absolutely superb the drinks delicious. We had the calamari (you may wanna request extra sauce on the side) and the crab Rangoon dip it was all hot delicious and came out relatively quick despite a packed restaurant. Our burgers were cooked to perfection. I will say the wait times to get a seat are absolute rubbish they quoted us 2 hours fortunately bar seating is first come first serve and these nice people allowed us an opportunity to take their seats. They need to figure out a better reservation system for sure. Just remember common sense if you sit at the bar tip your bartender/service well for taking up their bar.

Great service, excellent food and best of all it was the one success of the day with my Regional Director of Marketing that was shadowing me on sales calls! She was completely impressed by the palate variations of the sushi combinations, burgushi and more! Our server James greeted us by our names (we had our name tags on, good eye James!) :-) All in all a pleasant late lunch and an impressionable experience for my supervisor! Thank you!

Perhaps a byproduct of their popularity we could not enjoy what seem to be a good place. Went with a large party of 16 and had to leave because they could no accommodate for at least an hour. My main criticism is that they did not even try to accommodate despite having all the outside tables free. They didn’t even ask or offer that option.

Tuna nachos were excellent appetizer. Had chicken, avacado and bacon sandwich was really good messy but good. Sweet tea made right not to sweet. Birthday celebration music and cake was cool. Would do 5 but a little slow getting good out. Look forward to coming back.

I see why Cowfish has so many great reviews! The Snake in the Grass cocktail is unique and quite tasty. The lobster and crab spring rolls and calamari were also delicious. David, the bartender, was very friendly and attentive. I was in Charlotte for a work meeting and am so glad I was able to dine at this local gem. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again!

Today was a day of firsts. It was my first time at Cowfish and first time eating sushi. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with both experiences😊. The manager Chris is awesome! He overhead that it was my first time at Cowfish and eating sushi. He took it upon himself to make sure that I didn't leave disappointed. Chris's personal white glove service was the cherry on top to great sushi, a great restaurant, and an exceptional experience of firsts. Cowfish keep serving a cut above the rest.

Awesome, great for parents who love food and have their kids with them! Our 3 year old loved the kids bento box. The staff was really friendly. The atmosphere is conducive to young hip eaters and families alike. Great restaurant that we will definitely return to. The jalapeño burger is so good, and they have incredible drinks too!

We had a family meet up 11 strong and the staff had us settled in less than 15 mins. 😃 The menu was extensive and the food most excellent. Add to this it is a fun place to eat. Cowfish = WIN! This is Grandpas opinion 😁

Best sushi ever! Everything here is great. Whoever came up with sushi burger fusions is a freaking genius! Our waitress was amazing, explaining the whole menu to us and giving us the best recommendations. And if you're a first timer you get a $5 off card for your next visit.

Great burgers! And the sushi is excellent also. We try to eat here about once per month, which is significant, since we live over a mile away. The service is exceptional. We never leave disappointed!

Who would've thought beef and fishwould be such a longstanding popular place in Charlotte? But this place really does have good sushi (except on Sunday nights, then it's not so good) and good beef items as well. They have great cocktails ( a little pricey but it is SouthPark). That's why there are 4 stars instead of 5. It's always a good place to go when you're in the area and in need of a sushi fix. =)

Came for the first time with my boyfriend and was simply amazed. Caroline was our server and was nothing short of amazing. She explained the menu so well as it can be overwhelming. We got a variety of items (sushi, burger, fried pickles, fries, edamame) and was impressed by everything! The art work was also something you have to see, we got a personal tour from one of the male host. The manager greeted us at our table and personally gave us coupons to use on our next visit. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. We will definitely be back and plan on trying their other two locations in Raleigh and Atlanta!!

I was really excited to come here. I got seated right away. My husband and I looked at the menu and decided what to order. We waited for somebody to give us a drink and take our order. I saw employees talking to each other towards the back. It wasn't that busy. I really wanted to eat sushi so I asked my husband to be a bit more patient. We eventually left without being helped at all. Very disappointing.

Excellence service! First time coming here, and our server -- Chris, introduced us to everything and made sure we were comfortable. Chris is very friendly, professional, and informative on what Cowfish has to offer! He and the manager made sure to accommodate to my allergies, which was awesome. The other managers even gave us coupons and made sure we had a good first time! Will be back! Delicious food as well, tasty burgers and unique sushi. Fried pickles and sweet potato fries are a definite dish you should try!
