Best Sunday brunch I have ever had in my life. I had to force myself to stop eating so my stomach wouldnt burst. Makes me want to relocate from northern Virginia just to eat here Sunday mornings. Seriouslygood food. Great social vibe as well.

Every-time I come here the food is amazing. The Hushpuppies are incredible. These are not your grandmas hushpuppies. They are filled with a delicious sauce and seafood. The crab cakes rocked They are not for everyone theses one had a great smokey flavor. I also had the Trout this time. Trout was incredible, very moist perfectly cooked and tasted awesome. The last time I was here I had the striped Bass which was also great. Every time I come to Charlotte I come here to eat at least once. The service is great. The staff attentive and friendly. I just left the city and already miss this place. If you are not familiar with the area there is a parking garage just a half block from the restaurant which makes it easy to get in and out.

Nice restaurant. Great service, nice bar. Steak was one of the toughest I've ever had, manager too off the bill. I'm sure other entrees would be great.

Stopped in after going to the Auto Show early afternoon. They had he best fries (always order mine well done) and a mimosa. Excellent and reasonably priced. I will return. Maybe next time I'll order food.

Great food, attentive wait staff. A sort of southern spin on an upper scale restaurant. The encrusted trout was awesome. The long booth style seat along the main dining area is not very private or intimate for couples on a date, but it works. Highly recommended. I'll eat there again for sure.

Friendly and highly attentive staff make this a 4 star review. With all of the brunch options that Charlotte has to offer, I was slightly disappointed with the flavor profiles available. Desserts were plentiful and the biggest highlight. Loved the French Toast, but was dissapointed by the blandness of the Eggs Bene and how powerfully over-herbed the prime rib was.

Ate here once and it was fantastic. We ordered appetizers and meals and I was extremely impressed with both. The service was awesome and we were waited on hand and foot.

We were in town for a reunion and decided to stop here for lunch. They were offering their Saturday Brunch menu, which I'm assuming offers limited options. The decor was very nice, dark and intimate, and the indoor patio was bright. We were sat by the bar, at a table near the bathroom. I actually liked the location of the table. It was out of the way from the main dining areas and offered a very quiet experience. Service was attentive but not overbearing.
My husband ordered the burger (on a brioche bun) and regular fries. It came with a side of slaw, but he didn't eat it. My entree was described as Marinated NY Strip with a mushroom sauce and truffle fries. I expected a small strip steak (whole) but instead literally got a few strips of steak over about 5 small asparagus spears. I was a bit put off by the portion size to be honest. With that said, I found the food quite good. The truffle fries were hot, salty and savory. They stayed hot throughout the meal, which I was very happy with. The mushroom sauce, was tasty, though it got a bit gelatinous as it cooled.
We also had peach bellinis and they were served in a large wine glass but you did not get a large amount. Again they were good, but we were both put off by the small portion.response / report this review -

Some good dishes, others tasty but look a mess, some excellent.
Rather hit or miss.
Beets looked disgusting, no effort in the presentation at all. Too many flavours, beets served too cold.
Fried chicken excellent.
Service pretty awful. No waiter until quite a while after I sat on the patio. No water top up.until I'm about to leave.
Brought my bill half way through my main.clearly ready for me to leave. How about asking if I want dessert before the bill!

Be aware that when you dine in a large party via reservation you are relegated to a choice of 3 entrees (no option to choose another dish not listed on your very abbreviated menu), charged a "catering fee" and 20% gratuity. The food was average at best and the experience overall left much to be desired. I would not dine with them again.

First time at Mimosa Grill last night, and I was very impressed. Emilia was our server and she was excellent. We ordered the mussels to start, it was a large portion and very delicious. For dinner we had the trout and the catfish. Both plates were full of flavor. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Mimosas is a great place to dine. The food is farm to table and the Chef delivers an amazing menu. It's a great place for business lunch and a perfect place for an intimate evening. The wine list is superb and the staff is amazing. It's not easy to see from the road but very much worth the effort to visit.

Great fried chicken with enormous portions. Hush puppy appetizer was better than advertised. Also recommend the lobster Mac and cheese as it was rich and creamy with good sized chunks of lobster.
Good place for a small crowd, and sharing appetizers is a good way to try a few items.response / report this review
