We came here for brunch on Saturday around noon and the place was already quite busy. You should definitely make reservations to ensure you won't need to wait too long. The space has a charming rustic look with a chalkboard paint on the ceiling, you can make yourself dizzy trying to read the various quotes up there. Our server was very friendly and helpful with recommending food. We ordered the shrimp and grits, crab cakes, buttermilk biscuit, and the French toast. All of the food was really delicious! The presentation of the dishes was also very nice and added to the upscale feel of the place. This wss my first time trying shrimp and grits and I was very impressed! The buttermilk biscuit was my favorite dish, the truffle oil sauce was beyond delicious!

The food was well prepared and delicious. The grits were seasoned properly and had great texture. I would definitely recommend having brunch here.

Came for brunch— party of 8. We enjoyed great drinks (Sangria and Bloody Marys were our top two) and all food (omelet, crab cakes, shrimp and grits). Service was a bit slow due to a kitchen issue and the manager was proactive and accommodating— comping our meal. We would have come back regardless, but the extra service goes even further in my books. Thanks 5Church for taking great care of us!!

Food is high quality, well presented and prepared. Atmosphere is very nice and hip. Service is good providing you don't go here during peak busy times. Just like almost any restaurant anywhere, it all falls apart when very busy.

Great service. We had the special items on the menu. The flounder special was really good. The duck pot pie was too salty and the presentation was sub par at best.

5church, 5stars. Went here for restaurant week and was blown away. Portion sizes are actually decent for the price - expect to spend some money - and the cocktails were out of this world.

My 1st time attending with family & friends for brunch. The restaurant is very spacious & is modernly decorated with beautiful furnishings, chandeliers, paintings & large framed mirrors. Unfortunately it's sitting in the middle of uptown reconstruction & finding parking is the worst. Also we weren't pleased with the time it took to receive our meals & the fact that the plates came out in stages that left the children & several adults unable to eat together. This left a bad taste in our mouths, especially my son who'd invited us all out as a thank you for helping him & had chosen this restaurant personally. He was quite upset & the only thing that saved the day was the food, which was pretty good. I'd give this place another chance based on the taste of our meals & our waiter who said they're known for dinner. I believe in 2nd chances so I'll be back. I hope this helps.

Went to Charlotte for a girls weekend and stayed next door at The Ivey's Hotel and ate almost every meal at 5Church! It's just that good!! Got the Belgium waffles for brunch, which had the most delicious chia tea syrup on it! Went back for dinner and got the watermelon and heirloom tomato salad then the crispy chicken paired with a viper to drink! Thoroughly enjoyed every bite!! Such a fun atmosphere, highly suggest!

5Church is a beautfiul restaraunt. We only had mimosas there, but wan't wait to go back for a meal! We ate at the 5Church in Atlanta and the food was really good.

Last night I had my best friend's bachelorette gathering here and it was awesome! I called to confirm my reservations and Lori made sure to ask if we needed any special accommodations. They had our section ready early and was very patient while I decorated. From the valet to the hostesses, everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Gabriel was our waiter and he was awesome!! Sometimes upscale restaurants can be a little "stuffy", but not this one. You get upscale ambiance, great food and drinks, with excellent customer service.and complimentary valet parking! Five Stars for 5 Church :)

A friend and I went here for restaurant week. Overall, it was good but I'm not sure I would come back to sit down and eat - the crowd that was there for drinks and apps seemed to be having a better time.
The location is great if you work or live Uptown, easily walkable. Even if you don't they have a complimentary valet service. Also, the atmosphere inside is interesting - I definitely get more of a clubby vibe than a sit down restaurant (and we were there during the week for dinner) because the space is fairly loud between people chatting and music going in the background. It's also super dark - I've heard of mood lighting but this was on a different level.
The food itself was decent, since it was restaurant week I was choosing from that menu. The winter squash salad was underwhelming to say the least, my entree of seared tuna was fantastic, and the s'mores dessert while good wasn't necessarily anything to rave about. I might go again for drinks or during restaurant week, but that's likely it.response / report this review -

My best friend and I came for the last night of restaurant week and could not have been more satisfied. Michelle our server was awesome and gave us perfect recommendations. Everything was delicious and we didn't feel rushed. I take my family here every time they are in town and never have any complaints. Can't wait to come back!
