The Luxe City Center hotel isn't much to look at when you first walk in but it has one of the best rooms I've stayed at in a long while. Large spacious room with a great bed and bathroom. Loved the waterfall showerhead and comfy robe to lounge around in. I ordered breakfast for the morning and it was delicious bacon and potatoes, scrambled eggs were ok. Colleagues and I also enjoyed the bar for a few drinks before heading out to LA LIVE for dinner. Would recommend for business travel or for proximity to Staples Center. Only thing is the street side is a bit loud for a big event. Needed to turn on a noise machine to fall asleep.
Very nice room, the staff was cool and the bar on the 2nd floor was on point. All the local bars were packed due to the event. So it was nice to have a spot to chill at only a couple steps from the arena. Front desk even let we check in an hour earlier because i had an earlier flight
Great central location in downtown LA. Staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. I'm not sure I would call the experience "luxe" as the name would suggest, but I would definitely stay there again.
The hotel room was a nice. The windows were dirty otherwise the view was nice too.
If you touched ANY of the snack items of the counter you'd have to pay $8 for it. Things like a snack pack of Pringles chips and a bottle of water. They did their best to price gouge.
The people who parked your cars were nice. The room service attendants were probably the best in the hotel. That's why I'm giving the hotel a four star rating.
The room is rather small but still very comfortable. Amenities are at a minimum (no pool or sauna!). Had a fiasco trying to get a pot of hot water for tea and they wanted to charge 12$ for room service! The TV isn't smart or modern, lacking casting abilities. Overall a nice place to stay and well within walking distance of many amazing attractions.
Bloody toe sliced open due to faulty cheap design
Filed an accident report on Tuesday Sep 19, after slicing my toe open with lots of blood. On hidden doorstop in the closet. Terrible negligent design.
Foot swelled up, throbbing pain, and couldn't walk properly for two days. Called front desk, and security person came with first aid, took pictures, witnessed the accident, the blood, and acknowledged the poor design. Filled out accident report.
Asked to talk with a manager. No response all day. Finally spoke to (food and beverage) manager, only one on duty, late that night after I insisted. She assured me she'd call me next day to address the issue. Never called me. 4 days later, still no call.
I was attending a conference as a speaker. Much of the conference attendees were at hotel, and found out two other guests had stubbed their toe on the same hard to see doorstop in the closet. Imagine this happens regularly. Good chance it will happen to you too.
No response, care or taking responsibility shown by the hotel. Huge disappointment.
The service has been good, the location is awesome. They have the sensors in the fridge, so be careful not to move anything. Wish there was some room to store drinks or something. The water pressure in the shower needed some work, and careful not to stub your toe on the closet, it's in an awkward spot.
Great location and close to everything. Comfy rooms and great food. The lobby was not very inviting but the staff was nice. They have weird "Do Not Disturb" door tags that has a lady blindfolded on it, but hey that's L.A. for you. The bathrooms were nice and I especially liked the turn down service.
Cozy hotel in a great location. Near to everything and I heard that all the big time singers and athletes stay here if that means anything to you. I was traveling for work and enjoyed the turn down service at night after a long day. Room was clean and had a comfy bed and updated bathroom. Room service was actually pretty good. Couldn't ask for more.
I will stay here again on my next business trip.

Needed to meet an old friend of 20+ years near LA Live prior to dinner and wanted a relatively quiet place to get together to catch on old times. Our first option was closed and looking upwards from the corner of Olympic and Figueroa we saw the open air bar at Luxe and said why not - found a great seat, good service, and drinks were fine. The best part was the quiet and atmosphere of being outside and enjoying the lack of a roof over our heads.
Very professional and courteous staff. Very unfortunate that the stair case is in an inconvenient location when one of the elevators was up for maintenance. Was informed the room would have a pull out couch when it in fact did not.
Location was great, short walk to L.A. Live. Rooms were clean but walls are thin, woke up to hearing a couple next door having a morning workout. We could hear everything Hot/cold shower handle fell off when turning shower on, towel rack fell off while taking towel off. Front desk didnt do anything. Not worth my $260 with parking.
Nice hotel. Great location. good price. I prefer to park my own car and don't like being forced to valet. That's my only complaint, but its likely the same story at all the nearby hotels.

Extremely unprofessional management and lack of customer service - I had to cancel a reservation over a week before it was set to occur due to change of plans on my client's end, and am getting fully charged for the booking. I called to discuss a credit for a future date at the location instead with the manager (not even a refund), and the manager refused to even get on the phone with me. Cowardly, low, and rude. At least it makes it an easy decision to never book at a Luxe property ever again.
