  Great hike for all levels, beautiful scenery the whole time. I went to delta lake and it was breath taking!

  We did not get more than one mile into the trail when we encountered a bear. He retreated very quickly upon seeing us. We turned back because we had a nine year old with us. Next time, we will finish this hike.
