So here's the reality of lunghamer Buick and GMC. After working there for a while as a new car salesman I came to realize that the facade of this place was much worse than I initially thought. The mind-state of the management in this facility is the slimiest and most disconcerting management I've ever worked under in my 26 years of sales. Scott Kim Dave and Doug are the four managers between new and used cars and these people are terrible despicable human beings with no ethics or moral values. These few individuals are completely clueless to their disconnect from the community and reality in general it's seriously like stepping into the Twilight Zone where you know that something is seriously off but you can't put your finger it. Constant bickering andarguing with a twisted negative vibe. Secrete shoppers from GM continue to give This dealership bad reviews and negative marks for their lack of any customer service. This dealership is being maintained by selling cars to the age group over 60 that don't know any better than to pay too much out of loyalty for their Waterford community. Dave and Kim are rip-off artists and care less than half of what the guys in the service department do. This place would be out of business if the service department had even the slightest attitude or disposition similar to the sales staff because this place is the gutter of Waterford. HELP US ALL AND STOP BUYING CARS HERE SO WE CAN REMOVE TERRIBLE BUSINESSES LIKE THIS FROM OPERATING IN OUR COMMUNITY.
Then go on here since I bought my new truck sure is hard to get them to take care of you if you mentioned something for warranty work they won't do nothing I will never buy another truck from them
Came in with a broken headlight that was previously fixed numerous times at another location and came here to find out why the same light was turning off. Brad was so nice and helpful that he showed me where the previous mechanic went wrong and fixed the part right away. Love the customer service here and his professionalism!!! I will be back.
Great service at both Waterford locations; staff is responsive and considerate. They don't overwhelm prospective buyers. No complaints😊
BELIEVE THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!
I purchased a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate, and in the process I priced Lunghamer. They were $4100 higher than what I ended up paying for the vehicle from a competitor. Their sales team were friendly, and even the manager came out to talk. As much as I wanted to keep my business local, I couldn't pay $4k more then the pricing at other dealers.
Now to the reason this is a 1 star dealer. Worst service ever!
I have 4 vehicles that were purchased new over the last 3 years, and I have NEVER experienced worse service in my life. I called to setup a windshield replacement and an oil change, it took a few days but the windshield arrived. They called me to schedule an installation the next day, and told me to drop the vehicle off at night or early in the morning and it would be ready by 1pm (we were going on a trip using this truck to pull a trailer). I dropped the vehicle off as directed the night prior. I called at 1pm the next day to check on it (I was never updated on the status) but I was promised the car would be ready. .
I explained to them that I was told it would be ready by 1pm, because we were going on a trip, hence why I dropped it off the night prior. After a hold I was told the glass people would be there shortly and it will be ready by 3pm.
I called them at 3:30 to see if I should head up there, because we were waiting to leave on the trip. They told me they ordered the wrong windshield and the oil change was all set, and I could come pick up the truck.
I arrived to find that my truck was never even looked at, the oil change wasn't done, and the service person told me "We can get your truck right in for an oil change", it will be ready in 45 minutes.
I told them no, and left.
I called Golling GMC in Lake Orion when we got back from our vacation. They handled everything in 2 hours, and treated me like I would be expected to after purchasing a $68,000 truck. Golling is BEYOND a 5 star dealer, and Lunghamer was literally the worst dealership experience I have ever had.
Zero communication, over promising, and under-delivering.
Give the sales team a shot, but look elsewhere for any service needs.
I highly recomend this place to anyone in the market for a used car. Ron was my salesman and did not try any high pressure sale tactics. Very professional. I am super happy with the car I bought there. Love this place and am recommending Lunghamer to everyone I know.😊
Best dealership I've leased from yet. Would highly recommend. Extremely friendly and professional while being personable.
BEWARE - 2017 GMC Acadia Denali AWD - Purchased the new Acadia Denali in December and have had nothing but problems with it. As we continue to look online for possible updates/recalls, we're starting to come across other buyers reporting the same MAJOR issue described as a vibration at all speeds while maintaining a constant speed. Another review says it's just like the baffling sound you experience after you open one window in your SUV - It is beyond horrible! The dealership informed us that it was normal, and that it was caused by the TCC/transfer case clutch. OK, problem identified - can GMC come up with a fix?
Beyond this ridiculous flaw, we've had issues with interior and exterior trim pieces, a squeaky second row chair, a rattle in the lift gate, rattle in rear view mirror, a high pitch squeal that comes on AFTER the car is turned off (it lasts from 30 seconds to 6 minutes - this dealership says it's normal, but GMC says it's not, so we're going to a different dealership for this repair), bottom line - after three previous service appointments for repairs, we are going to a different dealership for our remaining problems - not ALL on Lunghamer, but they represent GMC and the repair and support of GMC products. STAY AWAY FROM THE NEW ACADIA'S!
Rob was a great sales rep to work with. We knew exactly which vehicle we were interested in and he was helpful, friendly, and professional. Our credit union said that he was responsive and easy to work with. We appreciated that we drove off of the lot with a real license plate and tags, and the dealership does not force customers to advertise by placing a dealership name sticker on the back of the car. Everything regarding the extended warranty and Onstar was explained well and the office offered extended hours to pick up the car. The only reason we rated four stars instead of five is that we thought the $398 "dealer markup fee" which was added along with the $200 'document fee' - onto the price of the car and taxed - was misleading. But all in all we are very happy with our purchase - and working with them was worth the drive.
Purchased my first car, a 2016 Chevy Impala, from this dealership. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly! Gordie is amazing! He made my experience as a first time car buyer easy and painless. He makes you comfortable by making you laugh during the car buying process which can be stressful. He made sure I was getting the best deal possible and was very knowledgeable regarding any questions I had. Was not pushy at all. The finance manager, David, got me the best deal on financing. I'm so happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this dealership! If you go hereask for gordie!
This is a warning to anyone considering purchasing a GM Vehicle. I purchase my car new in 2013 for around $32,000, it is now worth $7,500. Since that purchase I've had it in for repairs 9 times for manufacturer defects, and poor/low quality of parts and service. The service department at this dealership is awful, rude, and they will attempt to rip you off every occasion they can. The several times I've been in the dealership, (while waiting for my car to be repaired), I actually did not receive any assistance, despite I really wanted a new Yukon. I've also been to the service center at Lunghamer Chevy (Horrible experience, I left there very upset, on a warranty item.) at Moran Chevy (The service person lied to me, and they refused to actually tell me the issue after they fixed it, I also scheduled several different appointments, but each time I arrived, they had canceled it). In summary, the customer service was terrible in the dealership, in the service center, and the car I purchased is a heap of garbage. Not to mention, the overall dealership experience is terrible by design, and every GM service center I've been to for warranty (or any) issues has also been terrible. I even overpay for oil changes and windshield wipers.
