Loved it! It was our first time there and our waitress was incredible! She gave us recommendations and kept our drinks and chips full. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are decent. Would definitely go back!

Has a large selection of Mexican food but lots of other items as well. Service was fast and attentive, food was very good. We'll be back.

For a Mexican-American food Restaurant, I'm completely outraged that after requesting a soccer game that was exclusively on a Spanish channel be turned on, costumers complained because they couldn't follow since the bartender didn't change the channel, the owner was contacted and then he proceeded to order the channel to be changed. This is elitism at it's finest. I have been coming to Lucky Star every Sunday for at least a year now and I will never step foot in there again. All it took is one customer asking for an NFL game while there was a soccer game playing in Spanish already and the seas must be parted for this one English speaking customer. What would YOU call that?
We are definitely looking forward to Crossover opening. We have enough racism in this world, thanks for adding to it, Lucky Star.response / report this review -

It's ok, used to be better, menu is getting pricer for less quality food, doesn't seen like any food is actually made there, everything from a package.

New to Waterford area, had driven past the restaurant on a few occasions and thought it would be an interesting place to try for dinner. Last night (a Friday a little after 7 pm) we finally did and we were glad we did.
We were seated promptly, chips and salsa soon after seating and the evening only got better.
Kris our waitstaff for our meal was awesome. I felt she took great care of us smiling all the time she helped us. Our meal was brought out quickly.
I had a Cali Burrito, spouse had Enchilada's. The food was very good, generous portions.
All the while during our meal Kris came back with her great smile and pleasant personality,at proper intervals to make sure we had every thing we needed.
Writing a review is not something I do as a rule, but last night was such a great dining experience I really needed to say something. I hope you will consider the Lucky Star for a meal, and enjoy it as much as we did,we will definitely be back.response / report this review -

Came for dinner and the food was amazing. Our waitress Marina was very good at her job. I had the chimichanga dinner and he had a cheeseburger. Everything was cooked perfectly. I normally come here for breakfast so I was very happy to see the food is just as good during dinner.

Always great service and food! Get the pablano sauce in place of enchilada sauce it's to die for! Any bad reviews are probably from people who have nothing better to do than complain! This place is top notch!

Waitress staff was awesome, my wife loved the Spanish food I went Burger and it was a 4 out of a 10. Unfortunately it was overcooked, tasteless, and if u ask for fried onions GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. The soup that came with it was canned and I still can't figure out the fries yet. My 85 year old nieghbor can grill a better one. I'm very sorry to give this a bad review (the burgers) but it just was below average and I can't believe I'm saying this, but McDonald's has a better burger.
But my wife did give a thumbs up on the Mexican food she ordered.response / report this review -

The food is AWESOME. But their acid stain floor is horrible. The contractor who stained their concrete floor should be ashamed of himself. That's all I have to say. Beyond that, "Lucky Star" rocks!

The service was great. I pulled into a packed parking lot and got seated in 10 minutes. The food came quick and our waitress did a great job.
