They aren't very friendly, and they don't know their products very well. A salesperson lied to me about the Subaru Forester's transmission. He tried to tell me that the car did not have a CVT. It does, just like all automatic Subarus. Also, the first thing I was asked when I wanted to test drive a car was "What can we do to get you to buy this car today." My experience at this dealer has turned me off of the Subaru brand.

I hated car salesman, i would walk in and immediately get a bad attitude. Lois Thomas has given me my faith back. Everybody is extremely helpful, no pressure, no back and forth for hours to get the payment right. All car sales should be like this!!! Even gave us a follow up call to be sure we were still loving our new Outback!!! Recommend highly, not just the car, but the whole experience!!!!

Told us are 2015 forrester had tire problems but it was the front end on passenger side plus my fiance is a iraq war vet disabled sgt tim albright he bought his vehicle and his parents bought a new 2015 the next day

Rocky and Andy were great! They were friendly and fast. The paperwork went the quickest I've ever had to endure. We were in and out of the dealership in about an hour and a half. I got a great rate. I paid less than blue book value for the vehicle. I am VERY satisfied. Thanks, guys!

Service department needs better chairs in waiting area. That's the only bad thing hat I have found.
Service personnel are good & friendly.

I'm a satisfied customer of Louis Thomas Subaru since 2010. I like the guys in their service department, and I like the guys on the floor. So much so that I just bought a second Forester from Louis Thomas Subaru. I was satisfied with the deal I got. They met the price I was given in Columbus, saving me a good day's drive. Working with Lou Jr. and his brother Andy with the deal and financing was painless and as quick as it could possibly be. Everyone rushes to help with the slightest question.
Not sure where the priorities of some reviewers lie--in the appearance of the building? You're not buying a building--you're buying a car. Hello? How about giving value to well-built, reliable cars, great customer service, small family businesses, and honor? I'm impressed that this family has hung in--grandfather, father and two sons--and you can go there and meet every one. How many businesses have that? If you want to hang out in a fancy building, go shop in Columbus. I'm thankful we have the Louis Thomas family here in Parkersburg, selling and servicing the best cars on the road.
