My employer spent 900 bucks to replace brakes on my Ford Transit 150 service van. They recommended turning the front rotors instead of replacement(for that price should have been new everything as far as I'm concerned). They finished the work. I no sooner pulled out of the dealership and had a noise coming from the front brakes. Took it back a few days later because I was behind on my calls. The assistant service manager asked me who told me they could turn the front rotors. I told him the service manager. He said they should have put new rotors on the front because they were responsible for the noise. He said they didn't have the new rotors in stock. I said for the price my company spent they shouldn't have to pay for anything additional. He said he would just drive it the way it is because it wouldn't hurt anything. Needless to say I wont be taking this van back there unless there is a recall.
We really enjoyed our buying experience at Long-Lewis Ford. Bradley was great to work with and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. The whole team was very pleasant to deal with. Definitely will be back at Long-Lewis for our next Ford.
I recently purchased a car from Long - Lewis. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted with friendly smiles and was directed to Mr. Paul Fleming. I appreciate Mr. Fleming and his patience to help me understand and pick out the right vehicle. His knowledge of Lincoln cars were impressive. I’m enjoying my Lincoln MK z thanks to Mr. Fleming.
Everyone at Long-Lewis went out of their way to treat us well. Wayne Howard and Jim Bates went over and beyond to help me get a reliable and nice Escape. The welcome desk treats everyone with respect and a smile. The entire team jumps through hoops to make a customer feel valued!
This time I had a problem with my right view mirror, It was broken and had to be replaced. I called their Body shop about it and they ordered one. When the part came in they called me, my wife went by the place after work and in no less than 10 minutes it was repaired.
Great service that I have always gotten from Long Lewis.
This is my 2nd trip with this car to the Long Lewis Ford body shop.
I had a door handle that would not release from the inside of the car and also a trim piece on the lower front bumper that needed to be replaced they ordered the parts and did a first rate job at a lower price then I expected. I have always gotten great and professional service with Long Lewis.
I am guessing my story is atypical, if not the service dept. would be shut down. I carried my car in for a brake inspection to the "Quick Lane". Service advisor called and said my rear brakes were gone and I needed rotors and pads. The good news, my front brakes were OK, better than 6 mm of pads left.
A month later and 1300 miles, I hear metal to metal grinding when I applied the brakes. Through the front wheel I could see the rotor was marked by metal to metal contact. Upon inspection all 4 brake pads on the front were worn down. Odd, the metal backing plates the brake pads are bonded to, are 6 mm thick. Now, did they lie to me, lack of knowledge or did they replace the wrong brakes? Be careful, just because it is a dealership you cannot trust them.
We left our Ford Fusion for recall service and they did their very best to get our car back to us by the end of the day. They called and kept us informed of their progress and we got the call to pick it up before close of business. Very pleased! Everyone was very friendly and helpful!
Fantastic Service. Went in for the Works Package and was out in less than 30 minutes. Oil change, Rotation and complete vehicle inspection. Service Writer Fred and Manager Keith were very friendly and helpful. They informed me of the condition of my car and detailed what my charges were. I will definitely return when I need service again.
We went to Long Lewis Lincoln looking at a used explorer they had for sale that we absolutely fell in love with. We worked with Tony who is great and I would recommend anybody working with him. He made sure I knew everything about that car before I drove it off the lot. He let me test drive it for as long as I wanted and was not pushy at all. Tony and the staff at Long Lewis is just very laid back and easy to work with. I definitely recommend Long Lewis Lincoln if you're searching for new/used car.
I took my 2005 Focus to the dealership to get a wheel alignment, wheel stud replacement an inspection, wheel balance, and for them to check out a vibration issue. Everything else is good but I'm still having a vibration issue. I was told the wheel balancing will fix the issue but it's still there. Don't know what to do at this point.
Paul Fleming at Long Lewis Ford is the BEST. I've bought many cars from him and look forward to continuing to purchase cars from him at Long Lewis Ford. A motorist hit me head-on and totaled my car. I went to see Paul on a Saturday morning and told him what I needed. He found the EXACT car at another dealership in South Alabama and had it delivered to me later that afternoon. Amazing!
My experience with Long-Lewis was very good. They have earned my trust based on how they handled my new car buying experience last month. I shopped at 10 dealerships, from Tuscaloosa to Huntsville in search of the best price and no one could beat Long-Lewis' prices.
My Fusion is the basic model of the ford fusions. It's got everything you would need and rides wonderfully! Such a quiet smooth ride I couldn't ask for a better first purchase car. I'm in love with it. And not to mention the wonderful people at Long-Lewis who made this experience fun, easy, and quick.
