  Everyone I worked with at Long Electric has been professional and easy to work with. Jason with answering all our questions regarding the generator quote and what was needed to be completed. Melissa keeping us updated every step of the way along
  with ensuring we had our generator up and running with a plan outage that was happening while still waiting on final steps to be completed with install. Kevin and his team were courtesy and a pleasure to work with on the generator installation and rewiring needed. Tom provided a very through walk thru on what to expected when generator is in operation and was very friendly and professional. Strongly recommend Long Electric for any Electric projects!

  We used Long to install our whole house Generac backup with automatic transfer switch and I can’t say enough good things about my experience and in particular with Tom who led the installation. We had some issues with our Generac unit and Tom fought hard for Generac to make it right and replace the unit which they rarely do but Tom made it happen. It’s been flawless since the replacement, powering us through several outages. In this day it is difficult to find contractors that care about service and their customers like Long does.

  I was staying in Norfolk area for work for a period of six months. This restaurant was recommended to me by one of my coworkers and I was extremely surprised. All of the food is at or better level than Morton’s or Ruth Chris. with a much nicer staff and quality of service. Usually reservations should be made 24 to 48 hours in advance as they do get very busy highly recommend trying oyster Rockefeller’s and their ribeye. Also great place to enjoy good quality cocktails and spend time with your coworkers or a family.

  We had an electrical panel catch fire unexpectedly. Long Electric was a lifesaver. They came out right away, accessed the situation and was able to give us a quote quickly. They had a replacement panel with all new breakers installed within 48 hrs. They also checked my 2nd panel to make sure everything was secured and helped us with determining the likely culprit for the initial fire / failed breaker.
  
  Overall, I'm Very impressed with everyone I dealt with; the owner, the technicians and the receptionist. It felt like everyone was
  genuinely concerned about what happened and was focused on getting us up and running quickly. The price was competitive and the technicians highly qualified. I will be using their services again in the future and recommending them to others.

  Today was the follow-up visit to install our new Generac generator. My previous review focused on the highly professional Jason Long (company owner) when he came to provide a very reasonable estimate, on the spot, and recommended an install solution that was hands down the most brilliant compared to other local estimates. This review is just as positives when his crew (Shawn, Jamie, Jeff, Tom, and yes, even Jason) arrived early, on time and performed an incredible dance of interior/exterior communication, quality work, and a thorough orientation of all the new equipment. Many thanks to the hardest working crew I've seen in a long time. They exceeded my expectations. Plus a shout out to the great office manager, Melissa, she's awesome. Consider Long Electric for your Generac generator, you will be very happy.
